Uchuu Kaizoku Moon: Dark Plans, Helpful Prisoners [Episode 174487]

by The Demented Redhead

On the planet of Selenia, certain factions were making plans, plans for a circumstance none had ever anticipated. The former ruler of Selenia was in possible possession of means to regain her throne.

She had Ranma of House Saotome.

Now normally, the fact that she had a noble of Jurai wouldn’t have been a problem. The Jurai Houses would never let him stay there for long, and would certainly do the dirty work of the nobles on Selenia and remove the former Princess from this life. Already, several ships from House Tendo, House Kuno, the Amazon Nation, and the Kuonji Merchant Associations had joined the small fleet under the banner of House Saotome, to go after them. Even the Silver Moon would fall to such a small gathering.

No, what scared them was the fact that Ranma Saotome was still unwed.

If Usagi was able to woo him, get him to marry her and make her First Wife, then she would have a sizable military fleet at her disposal to retake her throne. If she could win influence from a few of the other Houses, perhaps even partition for the Jurai military to act, as she could declare the nobles who had ousted her as rebels, she would certainly win.

Add to that what could be accomplished on that plan as well if Michiru of House Kaioh added her power to it as well. Even though her House was now dead, many of the people in the Kaioh territories still respected the family and would support them. As First and Second Wives, they would have all they needed to retake Selenia and affect revenge.

And this could not be allowed, not if they wanted to keep their power.

Not if they wanted to keep their lives.

So they sent out word to a few select mercenaries, some who would be able to track down the Silver Moon and deal with her crew quickly and effectively. The Saotome Noble was of little concern.

Several pirate groups answered the call and accepted the price: The Dark Kingdom, the Black Moon, the Death Busters, and the Dead Moon Troupe. The four were the deadliest group of cutthroats this side of the Galactic Core.

And between them, the ‘Killer Rabbit’ was as good as dead.

“Man,” mumbled Ranma, as a particularly difficult knot seemed to not want to come undone, “you need to relax more often.”

“Mmm,” purred Minako, “I promise.” She made a mental note that she would be getting these massages from him every day until his ransom was paid.

“When’s my turn?” whined Usagi.

Haruka just rubbed her forehead. “This is not how an interrogation is supposed to be.”

Ranma just shrugged. “I do what I can.”

“Oh,” said Haruka, “and you aren’t going to try and take one of us prisoner and escape ... why?”

“Because I promised Hotaru on my honor that from the moment she opened that door until it was locked, I won’t try and escape,” he said. “Besides, she needed my help, and I don’t leave people hanging.”

“Well that’s nice of you,” said Usagi.

Haruka just glared at them. After all, this was not how a pirate ship should be run. “Then you don’t mind answering some questions we have for you.”

“Not really,” he said as the knot in Minako’s back finally came loose. After all, it wasn’t like he knew anything important. As long as they keep me out of the hands of those fiancées, I’ll do just about anything they want.

After all, it’s not like I have anything other than those girls to worry about. No way Mom has the pull to get a Jurai armada sent after me.

He ignored the sudden shiver that went down his back.
