Ranko glared at the girl sitting in the seat beside her. It infuriated her to no end that her mother had forced her to take Nabiki with her. It wasn’t like the girl even had any feelings for her brother. No, she just wanted the power and prestige being his wife would grant her.
“Is something wrong?” asked Nabiki, looking up from the book she was reading.
“I didn’t want you along, you know,” Ranko growled. “It is obvious you have no feelings for my brother.”
“Not true,” said Nabiki, talking with no emotion. “I love him with all my yadda-yadda-yadda.”
“Bitch!” yelled Ranko.
“Listen little girl,” sighed Nabiki, closing her book. “Just because you lucked out and want to jump your brother’s bones, don’t assume every other female wants to as well.”
“So you hate my brother?”
“He merely doesn’t peak my interest,” said Nabiki.
“What’s not interesting about my brother?” she demanded.
“Well, for starters, he’s not the smartest in the bunch,” started Nabiki. “It seems all he cares about is training, fighting, and the basic activities of sleeping and eating.”
“He not like that ... all the time,” Ranko finished lamely, trying to come up with something to prove her brother was more than what Nabiki had said.
“And look where it all got him,” she said. “He was captured by the Killer Rabbit.”
“He couldn’t do anything!” yelled Ranko. “Innocent people could have been hurt!”
“Whatever,” sighed Nabiki. “Wake me up when we find their ship. I’m going to take a nap.”
Ranko just glared at her as she left. “Stupid trollop,” she responded once the door was closed. “You don’t deserve my brother. And when I prove he’s more than what you think, it’ll be too late for you to even touch him.”
“Um ... ma’am?”
“Yes, Yuka,” said Akane.
“Where should we start looking for the Killer Rabbit or the Silver Moon?”
Akane blinked. “Um ... I don’t know.”
Sayuri sighed. “I can check the local Nets to see if they have any sightings of the ship?”
“Yes, do that!” commanded Akane.
“I think Lord Kuno may have broken her,” said Sayuri.
“Then we definitely don’t wanna fail,” whispered Yuka. “Who knows what she’ll do.”
“What are you two talking about?” asked Akane.
“Nothing!”
“I can’t believe they started the interrogation without me!” grumbled Rei, as she and Michiru made their way to the brig.
“You know how the Princess gets at times,” sighed Michiru. “Just be grateful she took people with her. Knowing her, she would have offered him milk and cookies to make him feel better.”
Rei continued to shake her head. “Really, you think she would be getting better at this.”
“Just be happy that Haruka is staying close to her.”
“I suppose,” said Rei. “But why am I getting a wave of ... bliss ... coming from the brig? Shouldn’t it be fear?”
“Ooooooh yeaaaaaah!” purred Usagi, as she started to experience the wonders of Ranma’s healing touch.
Minako sat off to the side, staring blissfully at the ceiling. “Oh, I am definitely getting these ones a day. Maybe twice... Maybe whenever I’m not piloting...”
“Of for the love of...” muttered Haruka. “This is not how you treat prisoners!”
“I think you need one next,” smiled Minako.
Hotaru sighed as she submerged herself in the hot waters. “I feel great!” she cooed, as she lounged backwards. It had been a long time since she had been free of the constant pain her weak condition left her in, usually after therapy or some pain inhibitors.
But to feel that way after a massage. “Sempai is such a great man to do that for me, and even after we kidnapped him.”
It did make her feel a bit guilty about her role in all of it. But he was so kind to her, and helped her, giving his word that he wouldn’t escape.
“Maybe ... maybe I can do something nice for Sempai to pay him back. Hmm... Maybe ... maybe I can convince the Captain to make him part of the crew!”
Smiling at her idea, she allowed herself to relax some more. After all, Sempai told her to.
