Dragon Wives: Breaking Eggs [Episode 174781]

by The Demented Redhead

“But sire, I don’t understand one thing?” she asked. “If you want this stuff to stop, why don’t you?”

Ranma blinked, before looking up, trying to focus on Six’s eyes and not the orbs of female flesh that were closer to him. “Huh?”

“Well, I was wondering why you don’t deal with it. I mean, you won’t let Jane or I just kill them. You won’t tell us the problems you have, but you also don’t seem to want to deal with the problems.”

Ranma sighed. “It ain’t like that?”

“Well, we want to help—maybe me more than Jane—but you don’t want to tell us anything, and then your surprised that we don’t know why. If we had to guess, we’d have to say you like things the way they are, which is why you won’t change them.”

“I can’t,” he said.

“Why?”

“Can we drop it?”

“This is what I mean, if we try to help or learn, you want us to stop. Isn’t that running away?”

“Because ... because I ain’t certain what to do, okay,” he grumbled.

“That’s why we can help,” she said.

“I don’t need help,” he said.

Six shook her head. This was going to take a while.

“Shampoo, you have returned!” yelled Mousse, as he glomped onto the girl who had just entered the Nekohanten.

Cologne sighed as Mousse once again grabbed a customer. As she made her way to deal with him before they got sued ... again, she found that she didn’t need to bother. The tall woman seemed to be able to handle herself, as he broke free of Mousse’s grip, an amazement in of itself, and proceeded to grab the Master of Hidden Weapons by his crotch, forcing him to illicit a high scream, much to the horror of the male customers and the glee of more than a few female customers.

“Now listen here you peasant,” snarled Jane. “Only one man is allowed to touch me like that, and you certainly are not him. If I ever have the distaste of receiving such a greeting from you, I will personally rip these small bits off you in the most painful way possible, before I begin to strip the skin from your flesh. You will cry out for death before I finish with you, and you will take your learned lesson with you to the next life. Understand?”

“Yes,” came the weak and high-pitched reply.

“Good,” she said, giving him an extra twist, before her free hand lashed out, sending him into a wall, and causing the females in the restaurant who had had the misfortune of dealing with Mousse’s glomps before, to start to applaud.

“Very efficient tactics,” said Cologne, as she hopped over to the strange woman, noticing she seemed to be hiding her power, a lot of it if she was reading it correctly, as well as something ... familiar. “Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead grabbing that area of him.”

“My Lord has forbidden me from killing such ... inconveniences,” she spat.

“And you are?” asked Cologne.

“Jane,” the woman replied. “And I am here to determine the worth of the female that is trying to lay claim to my husband,” said Jane, staring at Cologne, as if calculating the woman’s threat. She is very strong, high potential. I better be careful of her. She can’t do any serious damage, but she shouldn’t be underestimated. She has as much stench of magic on her as a mage from Jade.

“Oh,” smirked Cologne, not above teasing the girl. “And I take it you somehow got attached to son-in-law?”

“He rescued us from a beast we were sold to for the life of our first husband,” said Jane. “When Ranma saved us, we pledged ourselves to him.” It was a lie, but Jane was well versed in weaving them to keep the scent of absolute bull shit from being smelled.

Cologne nodded. She had heard reports that Ranma had been near Jusenkyo, most likely still believing the place could offer him a cure. And while it might be true, even Cologne herself was uncertain. After all, Taro’s curses seemed to mix, and in all her time, she had never heard of one single person cured of their curse. In all likelihood, the hope that it would work had sparked the story of the cure.

But what also troubled her was that he had first gone to the Musk Citadel.

This sparked the memory of why the girl’s power seemed so familiar. It was very similar to a twist that flowed through the aura of Herb’s bloodline, the power of the dragon.

But while his was weak, hers was much stronger, purer. “Herb.”

Jane nodded. “As such, we are helping him ... clean up some problems, as it were,” she said.

“So you have no problem with son-in-law having other women?” she asked, noticing that unlike the Tendo girl, Jane had not warned Shampoo away. As she had stated, she had only come to check her worth as a mate for Ranma. Only son-in-law could get dragons to work for his benefit.

Jane nodded. “My first husband had fifty wives before he fell from grace. So I don’t mind sharing.” And with any luck, human women trying to bed him will loosen him up, or at the very least, make some more situations for teasing.

“Then we have much to discuss,” said Cologne, motioning towards a table.

Jane nodded and followed. Apparently some of these humans did know how to act. Who knew.

Akane continued to fume as classes began to draw to a close, and Ranma still nowhere to be found.

Even the foreigners who insisted they were married to him—not that the baka ever denied it—weren’t there.

This in her mind, meant he had skipped the classes to go do perverted things to the perverted girls.

Many in the class was well used to her rants, which had continued throughout the day, even Ukyo seemed to be stirred on by them. Then again, Ranma hadn’t filled her in on everything, so she was trying to gleam some basic facts from whatever Akane spoke of, and then filtered it as best as she could.

But given the fact she moved stiffly, often grimacing in pain from her earlier forced meeting with the wall, it was doubtful she’d be in any shape to go searching for him. She would most likely leave school after the dismissal, and head home to recuperate and train to defeat the girl who did that to her.

But Akane was a little slower on the ball with those issues, certainly beyond lowly ego that she could defeat the girl. And then she would ensure the pervert received the appropriate punishment. He hadn’t even shown any worry for her when the Amazon woman had tried to choke her to death, he didn’t even kick them out.

And he was supposed to be engaged to her.

Now there were times when Akane wasn’t like this. But what should have been a moment of joy—Ranma returning from China, either cured or not—turned into a melee as he had returned with yet another two women, which deemed themselves his wives.

Add to that the stress of having to constantly deal with the fathers’ plans for a wedding upon his return, and the powder keg was filled even more.

With the stress, near death, and other injustices to her ego, she was ready to blow.

And the only thing missing ... was the pigtailed boy to release upon.
