Mousse squinted, annoyed. Just why did Shampoo had to sound so happy about this, anyhow?
What was it about that bloody outsider, anyway? So what if he was good-looking and a good enough fighter to actually fight Shampoo to a draw - it still didn't really explain why so many of the woman and even some of the men were so - so ga-ga over him, even more then two years after they'd seen the last of him.
And anyway, if that monster hadn't interfered at exactly that moment, Shampoo would have won that match, he was sure of it.
- Oh, well, so he was biased. Baah. Whatever, whatever...
"You heard what the Elder said, Shampoo. Stay away from Jusenkyou till they go away. There might really be monsters there, for all we know..."
Mousse stopped talking, and shook his head, sighing. Shampoo had ran toward her little house like the wind, and was now already at the boundaries of the village if his hearing was correct.

"Yes, my lady..."
Ranma shuddered. Why did he feel like many, many, many people around the world and elsewhere had just thought about him, anyhow?
Not that it really was an unfamiliar feeling, but...
Oh, well. Time to really try to blow this joint, and smoke out any Enemies if they actually even were here, that is.
He took a good long look at the Jusenkyou Springs, some bubbling away merrily, some cool and still.
The easiest way to do this was to give a showing of the energy of the Gate Of Light - that had worked almost every time, up to this date. Not that he intended to go full-out 'Lightwings' for something like this, no sirrie, especially since he was beginning to think that the chances of the Enemies actually being even near him were rather small, quite frankly. That always caused him troubles and more troubles... Gaaaah.
Well, well, anyhow...time to begin. Procrastinating any more wasn't going to get him anywhere.
He gave a quiet nod to Sailor Saturn besides him, and began to power up.
And far, far away - Sailor Pluto smiled...
