Oh, she was quite aware that the little burst of affection she was feeling for the insensible girl in her arms was quite probably because of the Gate of Light's energies - she couldn't help getting some of that 'on her' so to speak, after all, while she'd done what she'd done.
She smirked, then. Dear Multiverse, her plans had worked almost perfectly!
...Which meant it was about time Fate and Destiny started throwing spanners in her way, of course. Or gravity grenades. Pluto sighed, then, sobering.
Well, she wasn't really surprised the 'Tenjin Ranko' persona had chosen the way she had, of course. She was the same as a certain Saotome Ranma at core - which basically did mean, Accepting Non-existence Not An Option If There Was Any Other Possibility, thank you.
And so now she had two at hand when there had once been one -
Pluto smirked again, taking a look at one Saotome Ranma, slumbering peacefully - or not so peacefully at the moment, maybe - in the VR Matrix.
And then at the girl in her arms again.
She sighed, then. It was high time to get the poor girl some clothes...
Some time later, Pluto smiled, putting 'Tenjin Ranko' - now sensibly clothed in some bathrobes, though still quite insensible - down on the sofa.
Two separate bodies, two separate minds, and one 'soul' multitasking for both, judging from the fact that they had only one Starseed between them.
Perfect. Souls generally had no trouble multitasking at all, as far as she knew, at least not when it came to such puny things as being connected to two bodies and minds at once, so neither of them should have any problems from that aspect...
And now for the most important part, from her point of view...
How was their 'link' to the Gate of Light functioning?
OK, even from just being here besides the sleeping girl, she could tell that the 'leakover' from the Gate of Light was almost nonexistant, at least when it came to 'Ranko-chan' anyway.
She really, really hope that their 'link' with the Gate of Light wasn't gone entirely, though... Oh, it wouldn't be a real disaster, but it wasn't really the most ideal outcome from her point of view, either. Who the hell wanted an 'unattached' Gate of Light floating around in where ever Gates floated, anyhow?
On the other hand, if the Link was too strong from her point of view... Two potential 'Lightwings'? Gaaah. Though even that might be easier to handle in general then the former situation, she supposed.
OK, OK, she'd spent enough time dithering. Time to go check!
