"R, R...anma, Saotome?" The reporter held up a bent microphone. It was difficult to for him to get the words out clearly with some teeth missing and being on the verge of passing out. "How do you feel...about becoming a..."
The uncommon sound of shoes on hardwood floors of the halls was suddenly heard after the front door was slid open. It was an athletic sprint that hurried their wearer to the common room.
Akane's hammer froze over her head as she stared in surprise at the stranger who so abruptly entered. But instead of attacking them, physically, verbally or in any other way, he grabbed the reporter and yanked him outside into the garden.
Nabiki, too, was surprised. She looked at the man in the black suit, tie, shades and white shirt as he punched the reporter clear over their wall and back through the window the unlucky snoop had shot himself out of. {There's a guy who's going to get full use of his hospital benefits.}
The martial artist's daughter clapped. "Nice form."
The man took off his dark glasses and bowed. "Miss Nabiki Tendo. I have been authorized to be the due representative of all the department and agencies of the Japanese government on the matter of Ranma Saotome, alien contact." He raised his handsome face to look her directly in the eye. "My name is Ryunosuke Fujinami."
