"BOY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" roared Genma. "WE HAVE TO BE GOING TO..." (sniff sniff) "...to..." (snifffffffffff) "uhm" (sniff sniff sniffity sniff) "mmmmmm"
Makoto handed the plate to the now-drooling Genma, the mood thoroughly wrecked. "Shall we get some practice in?"
Genma finished scarfing down the plate, it taking him very little time to do so, when he noticed that the girl was in a gi. She was also synchronized with Ranma as they went through a set of stretches and kata.
Genma loved food. He loved a few other things as well, but it was the Art that was his first true love. As she moved in silent duplication of Ranma's form, he saw a talent in the Art that was exceptional.
Genma thought about this. Eventually he wanted to take Ranma to Tendo's place, take over that dojo, and retire. Ranma would be a martial arts sensei and teach students. He'd already found one, and a pretty darn promising one. So on the one hand - he was moving ahead of schedule though along a path that meshed well with Genma's plans. On the other hand, it was completely against his plans to have Ranma even know - much less be friends with - a girl prior to visiting the Tendo house.
Well, he had to cut those ties. Best way to do it was wait until his son was distracted, then-
WHAM!
Genma dropped the pipe, picked up his son, and fled.
"Wha?" asked Makoto, a bit surprised by the sudden series of events. "HEY!"
Genma felt a moment of panic. He was used to outrunning pursuit, especially when he could roof-hop. The problem was that this girl had learned enough of the Saotome School that she was doing it too.
She was slower though, even with his burden of Ranma. He was used to carrying a heavy load while escaping pursuit - so this was only a momentary inconvenience.
