DemonKen: Surprise Visiting [Episode 175360]

by Kender

In the vastness of space, there was always a possibility for amazing things to be found. Time and space created areas where events could lead to various ends, and not all of them were 'nice'. There were things out there that one had to be careful about, and a lot of them would come in forms that the unaware traveller would never recognize. To come across such a place would be not only a cosmic level coincidence, but would likely lead to effects of the permanent kind.

This was something that Pharaoh 90 realized in all the few moments before the various attacks hit it.

Of course, once the blasts came its way, there wasn't much thinking to be done. Energies that, by themselves, were massive, came its way, and smashed into the malevolent creature with a force that was like the universe coming in on itself. At least that was what it seemed like, as the pressure from the attacks smashed the giant monster in on itself in the seconds that they hit in.

Then there was the point where they couldn't hold back, and the hits burst out with a bright light that could not be stopped. They blew up in a huge show of energy, and much more force to what they had already started. And in that instant, there was something amazing that happened, at least to anyone who'd heard of Pharaoh 90 before.

An explosion ripped through the massive creature, which came apart as the blast grew, but it was soon too far gone to see, as it was blown up and enveloped in a growing field of light and debris.

Ranma merely turned and brushed off his hands. "Guess it's time to go now."

"'Go'?" Genma asked. "'Go' where?"

"To finish up with this mess. Gotta follow the power feed before it fades completely out."

To say that the Witches 5 were surprised when a rather sizable group of people stepped out of a portal into their lab was to be understating the problem. They hadn't even expected a single person to find the entrance, and had never thought that any sizable group could get into their private sanctuary. This was their place of power, and they hadn't even really done anything to get any real attention, at least by their standards.

Yet, 'company' was what they were getting, as there was a group of... 'people' suddenly appearing in their midst, led by a boy who didn't exactly look like he was terribly normal. Considering the fact that they already had something bad going on, this wasn't a development that they needed. Rather, they'd have preferred to have avoided it altogether, and gotten on with their plans as they'd originally laid them out.

"Who are you, and what do you want here?" demanded Kaolinite.

The leader of their 'visitors' merely scratched the side of his head in a 'bored' way, and seemed to be on the verge of yawning. "We're kinda looking for someone."

"And you came here?"

"'Course. There's supposed ta be someone possessed who should be here."

"And you've come to save her."

"Sure did. It's the second part of what I was asked ta do, and when Ranma does what he's asked ta, he does it all."

Frowning, Kaolinite regarded the stranger with a measuring look. "And the first part?"

"Beat up and blew up some giant moon with tentacles. Called 'Pharaoh 90'."

The Witches and Kaolinite stiffened at his words, and seemed to be unable to reconcile what he'd said with the facts. Having already detected a loss of a connection to the named being, they had been trying to figure out what had happened. However, it was a bit difficult to comprehend that this boy and his assorted odd beings could have managed such a feat.

"Ha! That's a likely story, but we're not going to buy it! I'll bet that you're just lying, and are just trying to confuse us. But it won't work. But if you'd like to be.... MMPH!" Mimette started, but soon had an ice problem with her mouth.

Genma made a mental note to remember that trick, as freezing the lips of someone would come in handy sometime.

"Now, are ya guys gonna relax quietly and show me the girl, or are ya gonna be stupid?" Ranma asked.

"Ha! Like we'd let you simply take over here," growled Cyprine as she split off her redheaded duplicate. "Now we'll teach you to.... WAH!"

Not wanting to waste time, the young Overlord smacked Pitol's staff away, grabbed her by the ponytail, and tossed her into Cyprine, sending the two of them tumbling off into some equipment.

"Then try this!" Eudial called out as she brandished a rather complicated looking flamethrower.

A shot rang out from a single gun, and cut the fuel feed line on her weapon.

As she had already pulled the trigger, she was barely able to toss the weapon away before it blew up. But she was caught in the blast, and was sent tumbling to the floor. Given that she'd just had an explosion happen at her back, having singed clothing and hair, as well as being knocked unconscious wasn't exactly hard to understand.

Tellu tensed as she began to prepare herself to strike... only to stop when she was tapped on the shoulder.

"Do you really want to do that?" asked Morrigan as she gestured at the various beings ready to blast the green haired girl if she tried anything.

Being wise enough to appreciate self preservation, the girl in question back down.

Turning his attention away from her, Ranma looked up to see a frail looking girl sitting on a pedestal surrounded by candles and toys. "Would ya be the possessed girl by any chance?"

The look sent in his direction was unnatural and rather mean looking.

"Thought so. Oh, this must be the possessed girl. Honey-chan, I think this is more up your alley than mine."

Folding her wings gracefully behind her, Honey nodded and stepped forward, while:
