Unfortunately, there were some issues to take with those assumptions at the moment. Despite what he might wish, he could not ignore them, given the fact that they were right there for him to see. But then, he wasn't too sure that keeping his piece of mind would be quite possible, or, oddly enough, welcome at the moment.
First off, Luna, of all felines, was getting drunk.
Then there was the fact that she was apparently babbling about some woes that she had, as she was a whining drunk.
And the third thing was... something that he wasn't too sure that he believed was happening.
"I can't believe that this is happening to me? What did I do to deserve this? I worked hard to follow through with the Queen's instructions, and this is what I get?" she muttered, lapping up some of her drink. "I don't get any sort of respect...."
Artemis frowned, and wondered just what it was that had his black furred counterpart so riled. "Come on now, kitty cat. I'm sure that it can't be all that bad...."
"HA! Big lot you know! Could have had an obedient and dignified Sailor Senshi.... But noooo.... I get someone who won't listen to what I'm telling her. Am I not supposed to be the voice of reason? Don't I know how these things are supposed to be done?"
"I'm sure that you're... doing well."
"As if that is such a problem. She's so immature, and does things on the spur of the moment.... She's can't think things through, and actually keeps on bringing them to her side. It's like she can't see how dangerous that is," she moaned, half to herself.
"Are you sure that you're...."
"I'm fine!"
Strangely enough, he did have to admit that her words fit her under one context. Of course, it was in a form of slang, but then, he was also grasping for anything that would give him answers at the moment. "I don't know if this is sad or not, but I'm getting a surprise here."
"Oh?" the bartender murmured, raising a brow as he glanced over at the white feline after staring at the black haired one for several moments.
"This is fast, deep, and seems to say that I'm interested in the view."
"Ah."
"But this also just doesn't seem right."
All the bartender could do was odd.
Not that Luna had really heard what he had said, as she was too busy trying to get the last little bits of Kahlua & Cream into her system from her bowl. Seeing that was odd enough, but there was more to it than that. And it would take a supreme idiot to not notice that something was off right then.
Instead of the black cat sitting on the countertop, there was a pretty black haired young woman who was laying stretched out on the bar in a way that let those standing nearby admire her slim curves.
