Heh, heh, heh.
But it wasn't like 'Saotome Ranma' was dead and gone, at all. Quite the contrary - Saturn's healing had worked quite well, and he was already showing signs of coming out of his faint already.
Not that he was going to be useful for anything at all for the time being, of course - if Pluto's readings were correct, Saotome Ranma was weak as a kitten at the moment - she doubted he would be able to walk straight without assistance. And as for fighting anything at all -
A cold, cold grin rippled across her face, then. Oh, yes, she'd keep the monitors on him as tight as tight could be -
Didn't want to miss that, after all...
Tsukino Usagi looked up at the skies.
Something had - changed. For better or for worse.
It had changed, and a storm was coming...
She started to run. She had to get to her friends, now.
Shidou Hikaru stood on top of one of the buildings, and shivered.
As did her friends and teammates. Ryuuzaki Umi was murmuring something over and over, eyes closed, while Hououji Fuu was -
Hikaru closed her eyes. She didn't want to see Fuu-chan like that, with madness in her eyes...
There was this big great gap inside them were something bright and glorious had been.
And it was so...cold...
And all over the world, and behind the veils -
A storm started to brew.
Uranus and Neptune looked at each other, suppressing an involuntary shiver.
"The seas - " Neptune murmured.
"Yes. So are the skies." Uranus murmured back.
Pluto, standing a bit behind them, simply snickered a bit. "I did tell you two that there was a big storm brewing, did I not?"
Uranus and Neptune simply looked at each other. And then, held each others hands.
They didn't really want to know what Pluto had done. Or not done.
At all.
