When Motoko found out...his imagination pulled out a little pistol and shot itself rather then continue that train of thought.
They'd laughed off the little accident.
Then Tsuruko had produced these cute little cakes, shaped like little eggs. She'd explained that they'd come from the same place as the rod, and apparently were meant as a blessing for newly weds.
The two of them had sampled a few of the cakes. Only afterwards had Keitaro discovered the warning label...and learned that those snacks were actually infused with a potent fertility drug.
Only Tsuruko had chosen the that particular moment to drag him off for some hot loving...
But they hadn't used protection, and with his luck it was virtually certain she was pregnant now...
Of course it was the perfect moment for something like this to happen...
