Shinji's Wish: Turnkey Operation [Episode 17806]

It was easy for Shinji to use a combination of his own security access and Mephisto's abilities, and to place three keys where they would do the most good.

Hidden within three Magi.

The supercomputers were a combination of biotechnology and more traditional circuitry. Their actual surfaces were concealed behind armor plate. Getting inside that plating proved to be the most difficult part of the operation.

When done the Magi restarted themselves, but under Shinji's control.

Shinji spent most of the night there, hidden, uncovering all the dirty little secrets.

Still, he could strike and possibly checkmate the entire game in one move, if he dared.

After careful consideration, he decided his next "recruitment" should be:

• Lillith itself.
• The Eva units. No more need for those power cords.
• Maya and Ritsuko, their knowledge would advance his cause significantly.
• the single remaining pilot. Asuka.
• something else that Shinji thought even more fitting.
