Great Will: No More Curse [Episode 178204]

by Kestral

Ranma flared the Great Will and then let it all settle. Now there was no Jusenkyo curse because there was no Jusenkyo trip. The Guidebook that his father had relied on had met an unfortunate accident, and instead of China - the two of them had ended up going to some hidden monastary in Tibet.

Unfortunately, he had STILL ended up cursed. Fortunately, this one only manifested when he was confronted by an idiot.

Hmmm. That was triggered even more often than the cold water had.

...no transformation curse? No. That was more like it.

Except his life was still screwed up as he had ended up PERCEPTUALLY cursed. Everyone saw him as a pervert, even more so than originally.

Losing his patience with the whole thing, Ranma flared it again.

flick. reset. rewind. play.

Ranma looked around. Okay, things were shifting around. What had he done?

flick

Reset Point found. Asiatic Flu outbreak - 1889. Secondary wave of infection, extremely low mortality but genetic damage occurs. Original timeline side-effects cause cancerous susceptibilities to rise, damage shifted to genetic shift in dominant trait sequence. Alteration of basic human genome due to genetic damage at point. Male sex drive and responsiveness is at 1/16 original value, drive is rechanneled into creative pursuits and intellectual development. Female sex drive and responsiveness is approximately 8x original value.

"And this helps how?" asked Ranma, privately glad he'd figured out how to ask the Universe directly now.

Men are not considered perverts. Women are. Men do not peep and require considerable 'romancing' to set the mood. The role reversal in this area is 99% likely to produce the desired end of being perceived as non-pervert.

"That was what I was aiming for," realized Ranma. "I'm not cursed, and that should take care of my girl troubles, I think."

The Universe, wisely, remained silent.

"Okay," said Ranma, watching as someone's car retracted its wheels and gently lifted off the ground. "Let's see how it goes at the Tendo place now."
