Setsuna sighed as the final temporal tremors ended. She and the rest of the Senshi were still on a spaceship in space. However, the ship had stabilized it's form into a massive battleship and the girl's outfits had changed into a military uniform with their old symbols proudly displayed on the uniform's crests. The, temporarily she hoped, former Sailor Pluto sighed as she received the last bit of information from the Time Gates before they went into lock down.
Usagi nervously looked at Setsuna and said, "Well, what is our situation Setsuna? Why are we in these uniforms and in this giant bed? Also, why did the boy's hair just turn blue?" The other former senshi were all nervously looking at Setsuna hoping that she had an answer.
Fighting back the urge to grab some Romulian Ale, Setsuna gathered herself and calmly started to explain the situation. "Okay girls, her is the current situation. We are on the Ramaj, a battleship of the Humankind Empire Abh. All of us are senior officers on the Ramaj and you all should soon be able to remember the skills and 'memories' needed to man your post."
Minako quickly piped up. "Oh, I remember now that I'm the communications officer. Haruka, you're helm. Makoto is the senior weapons officer with Rei as the ship's defense officer. Ami is the ship's doctor with Hotaru as her aid. Setsuna is the Ramaj's chief Engineer. Usagi is our supply officer and Michiru is Ranma's personal aid." The girls all started to nod their heads as the skills and experience of their new life quickly emerged.
"That's correct Minako," Setsuna said as she continued her explanation. "We all have our positions due to being nobles in the Abh Empire. The Abh are an offshoot of humanity started by a group of Augments who fled Earth in the late 1990s before the rest of their kind was overthrown. The first Abh's ship was caught in a wormhole, probably a side effect of the temporal storm, and ended up near the Galactic core almost a thousand years in the past. As the system they ended up in only had gas giants, asteroids, and moons not fit for habitation, the Abh developed a space based civilization focused around massive space stations. Over the past millennium, the Abh have expanded to control nearly a third of the galaxy. Most of the Empire's military resources at the moment are focused on fighting the Borg and the Dominion."
Rei shook her head and jumped in, "We're not a bunch of genetically altered humans. I remember that I grew up 'here' on a planet named Ares. It was in a star system that looked very similar to the Solar System, but it's 'Earth' counterpart was a nuclear scorched wasteland. I can also remember meeting each of you on your worlds which were a lot like our worlds back in the Silver Millennium."
"That is the Gin Senshi system you are remembering Rei." Michiru calmly spoke up. "I remember that in this universe we all lived in that system and are royals of our respective planets. We don't have our senshi powers anymore, but we all have weaker 'paranormal' powers similar our senshi abilities. For example, Ami and I have hydrokinetic abilities. On the other hand, Rei is a pyrokinetic. All of our race, the Gin Senshi, have these abilities in one form or another with the royal families having the greatest power. However, even though we are Gin Senshi, I also know that we are Abh."
Setsuna nodded her head. "That's correct Michiru. All of us are legally Abh as we're nobility in the empire. Our home system was conquered by Spoor Aron Sekpadao Letopanyu Peneju, Ranma's mother, 16 years ago. As part of our people's incorporation into the Empire, Admiral Spoor agreed to the rather shocking engagement of her son to the nine of us. Our parents decided that a political marriage would help the integration process. Admiral Spoor agreed to this strange proposal because she was sure it would keep her from being bored."
