He'd seen the pictures. Yes, he had. Statuesque Vulcans looked cold, but he could warm them up. Yes, he could do that. There were some of those Federation girls who had more than one pair. How could he not be scientifically curious? He couldn't let that just go unexplored, could he? No, of course not.
He had an entire universe to explore.
Happosai couldn't smile in his hibernation, letting his body processes slow to the point he would not be detected as living. Once his crate was opened though, he should be on this starship Boobyprize. Even then though, he'd want to get off THAT ship before he really started his nefarious little plans.
Oh, this was going to be good.
"I did what?" asked James T. Kirk, captain of the Enterprise, who was looking at the end of his five year mission in another six months and thirteen days, and wondering what the heck the Guardian Of Forever had warned him of.
"Another anomaly occurred when I was... experiencing certain difficulties," said Spock.
"He's referring to the pon farr," said Doctor McCoy, reading this. "Well, well, well."
"There is, in our original time, no group of Vulcan traditionalists such as are depicted here," said Spock, a little more stiffly than usual.
"A tribe of Vulcans who practice archaic martial styles and have... oh my my my," said Doctor McCoy, looking at the Captain. "You dog."
"I get the feeling I really don't want to know," said the Captain. "So in the events that took place then, I somehow defeated this..."
"Her name is R'ei," said Spock. "She appears to be fairly young in human terms, but with Vulcan physiology, even if she IS an albino... she's twenty years older than yourself, Captain."
"So I beat her? Well, that's... not all there is, is it?" asked the Captain.
"Per the ancient pre-Surak traditions practiced by her group, she established a mindlink, then proclaimed you her husband," said Spock, looking acutely uncomfortable.
"Well, that's... what?" asked Kirk.
"Then, according to the records, when something similar happened on this planet," began Doctor McCoy, thanking the stars it wasn't him. "I wonder if this Saotome boy will be bringing your other bride along?"
"Say what?" asked Kirk.
Hotaru was Ranma's ninja. She was quite skilled in a variety of things and was quiet and very loyal. Each of the twelve families that ruled over Naireema had a ninja clan sworn to them. The Tomoe Clan was particularly good at mechanical devices, tricks and traps and tools. Some of their equipment was even better than the Oni could field.
There were other families though, some below the Twelve, though they had... ambitions.
"What do you tell me?" asked Soun, head of Tendo Clan.
"He's fled. Vamoosed. Run out," said Nabiki.
"HOW DARE HE?!" roared Soun.
"Apparently the Emperor chose him specifically," said Nabiki quietly.
"HOW DARE THAT... the Emperor?" asked Soun.
"Yup," said Nabiki, pulling down her ninja face mask. "Daddy, did you actually check into Ranma Saotome's background?"
"I don't see where it matters," said Soun.
"Oh, it matters all right," said Nabiki. "Clan Tendo has been going a little downhill but we still have contacts. Even with our current problems, we still have SOME resources."
"I brought my three daughters up to be upstanding clan retainers," said Soun, stiffly proud again. "Each of you ."
"I suppose," said Nabiki. "I'm ninja. Akane's a soldier. Kasumi's the healer. However, you should know something about his father's arrangements..."
Soun listened briefly, then shook his head. "Such things do not matter. I'd like to send you and your sisters then. You will have to retrieve Ranma and then he can -"
