108 Stars: Arriving in Stormfist [Episode 179796]

by Tomas

"I'm going after Brother! All these rumors and this squabbling business must be put to a stop as soon as possible. Come on, Miakis, Lyon, let's catch up to him!" Lym pulled her way out of her mother's arms and began marching toward the door.

Ferid's eyes narrowed and his voice barked out, "Hold it right there! Where do you think you're going, Princess?"

"To save Brother of course!"

Ferid looked at her determined eyes before asking his next question. "And, by any chance, do you know where he is? Because I haven't heard anything."

Lym's eyes widened. She hadn't thought of that. Where would her brother go? Why would he run in the first place? Why would he take Kyle of all people with him? She was on the verge of having a fit when a slim hand rested on her shoulder. Lym turned her gaze up to her mother.

"We will find where our son went, Ferid, and we will have ALL of these issues resolved." Arshtat slowly led her daughter to the door, the rest of the small group following. "Perhaps its simply the stress of the games, but the Prince needs to learn that he cannot run from any problem."

Behind her, Lyon nodded her head in agreement. Her Prince was simply stressed beyond all belief and not thinking straight. It was all Kyle's fault, she was sure.

As the group left the audience chamber, a page ran up to Miakis. "Lady Miakis, this was left for you." He quickly handed her the note, bowed to the queen, and scurried off. He had recognized the Prince's messy writing, and didn't want to be anywhere nearby when the note was opened.

Raising an eyebrow, the perky young knight opened the note and quickly read it. After reading the two lines, she quickly snuck a glance down at the little princess, who was almost glaring daggers at her. Grinning almost madly, she quickly folded the note back up and then stuffed it down the front of her armor. "It was from the Prince! He said he's going to Stormfist to get the preparations done quicker. He can't wait to get back to see me!"

As Lym began to explode again, Miakis gave a near silent giggle. It was SOOO fun to tease the royal family!

It was late afternoon when the small boat pulled up to the palace docks in Stormfist. Despite the fact that the boat had no royal banners, the bright silver hair of the Prince was instantly recognizable, and he and his blonde companion had been allowed to dock there.

Once getting onto the stone dock itself, Faroush stretched his arms before throwing a couple of punches and kicks into the air. It had been a long ride on a small boat, and it was good to get on land again. From the palace, a rather tall, blonde man dressed in a red and black uniform approached. The man stopped before the pair and gave a slight bow. "Your highness, we were not expecting you for another few days. I am Gizel Godwin."

Faroush reached up and clapped Kyle on the shoulder, almost actually staggering the taller man. "This is Kyle. We here to assert our manliness." As Gizel's eyes widened in shock, Faroush quickly began waving his hands about. "No, no, no! Not like that! I'm not gay, damn it!"

Next to him, Kyle nodded his head. "We're here to visit those famous brothels of yours. The Prince has a woman waiting for him back home."

Gizel's eyes took an understanding light. So, the Prince was engaged and his Knight had snuck him out for one last good time as a bachelor. Understandable of someone so young, even if it was a bit crude. Still, this was a great chance to try to secure more allies. "I had only heard the rumors, not the truth. My congradulations, Highness. Who is the lucky woman?"

Faroush blinked at Gizel, not understanding at all what he was hinting at. Still, Gizel didn't think he was gay! That meant it wouldn't hurt to be nice. "Uh, thanks. Its Miakis," the Prince replied. "I guess," he muttered under his breath, too quietly for either man to hear.

"Ah, one of the Queen's Knights? An interesting choice, Prince." Very interesting, Gizel thought. Did Queen Arshtat know that some of her Knights were more loyal to his father then to her? Was this the Queen's way of trying to prevent anyone in the ranks of her Knights from siding against her? How much did she suspect. Very interesting...
