Fifteen minutes later, and he had that yoma working on a fighting game program that he'd have other yoma pitch to a major videogame company. One of the benefits of his first life had been that he had run into sufficient bizarre martial arts styles that he could throw them into this sort of setting without much work.
That the programs wouldn't drain anyone was one of the things it had taken most of that time to convince that yoma regarding. No, the hidden little mind-control bits were for RECRUITMENT. Recruiting non-yoma, who therefore had to be paid in something other than life-energy, was one of his priorities.
He'd have to check the character designs later. Some of the initial sketches had been good, even if they DID resemble certain people of his acquaintance.
There were problems he'd have to deal with. Phoenix Mountain. The Amazons. Pharoah 90, because the entity still existed and was currently beyond his or Sailor Moon's ability to deal with it. No doubt P-90 would find some other vessels to work through. That Doom Tree didn't show up half the time - if it did he'd have to work on that little problem. Sailor Pluto, who would get free of her confinement soon. She still wouldn't be able to reach the Gates, due to his little trick with folding space in on itself around the Gates. Unless she wanted her insides turned outside, of course.
Uranus and Neptune. Neither was active at the moment. If he attacked either of them, he risked activating them early.
He glanced into the shadows, knowing his secretary was over there. "Have the Jusenkyo team apprised of the current appearance of Genma and Nodoka Saotome. If found, arrange with them to meet me without revealing my name or any details other than my position here. Exercise caution as their abilities are currently unknown."
The secretary nodded, writing that all down.
Ranma considered his next move. Something was needed to stir the waters. Something to find the dangers that might afflict his kingdom. Something like...
"Oh, that mystically charged bokken is in use," said the secretary. "Why did you want it dropped off there?"
"Because there is a deranged kendoist at the Kuno Mansion, who will use it and fall prey to its curse," said Ranma. "What about dousing him with that cursed spring water?"
"Jusenkyo Spring Of Drowned Girl? Should be there tomorrow," said the secretary.
"Good good, make sure we've got an imp with a camcorder to get the events for my later review." Ranma smiled. Vengeance was always in style for one in his profession. "The letter accompanying the cask should read something about those who bathe in its waters becoming what they seek, an edge in combat, that sort of thing. Cryptic, promising reward, and so on."
"I'll have one of the yoma salespeople write it up," said the secretary.
"Have one of the yoma in the area make contact with Mousse and Herb," said Ranma. "Arrange a meeting. Common enemies and so on. Once we've gotten Herb doused with Spring Of Drowned Man, we can fix the moxibustion technique by using a combination of that super-soba from the mail order and the counter technique when we recover that. With their assistance we can turn the Amazon Village into our personal powerplant."
"Yes SIR," said the secretary, a little more enthusiastically at the thought.
"As for Ukyo Kuonji," said Ranma speculatively, "where is her location?"
"It was in the dossier," said the secretary. "She vanished with Genma and Nodoka Saotome."
"Hmmmm, may need to get Jusenkyo cures then," said Ranma.
