AT Pokegirls: Bodyguarding Bonus [Episode 180499]

by Kender

As Ranma, Ash had known just how to handle bullies, as he'd been bothered by them despite his obviously fit physique. All he had to do was beat up one of them, wait for any others to come, and repeat that until the local ones realized that he would not be easy pickings. Since they only tended to come after him when they were physically bigger than him, they didn't try to do more when they realized that he was strong enough to make harassing him painful for them.

That wouldn't work now, as he hadn't had enough time to get his current body up to par, such as it were. He still wasn't strong enough to use the techniques from his 'previous life', never mind actually fighting with them, so that left out pounding on the guy. But there were some things that didn't take a lot of physical strength, so he considered using them for the long moment when Bart loomed over him.

However, he never got to decide on what he would try, as Bart was no longer crowding him. Instead, the big lug had taken a few steps back, and was clearly surprised by that fact. Not that he had aimed to do it on his own though.

The reason for his giving space to Ash was currently shaking her hands like she'd just touched something icky as she stood between them. Misty hadn't stopped glaring at Bart though, which she had been doing when she shoved him away from her master. She clearly was displeased by the physically threatening position of the bigger boy, and wasn't about to hold back on admitting it.

"So, you've got your pokegirl doin' your fightin' for ya, huh, Ketchum?" Bart sneered.

Ash scowled back at him, and stood firm against the bully. "Actually, she's doing it on her own. Guess she really doesn't like you."

"And she likes some little runt like you?"

"Better me than some big pile of stink like you."

"Why, you little turd," the large boy growled as he reached out to grab Ash's shirt.

It was something Misty couldn't abide by, and so she took a quick swipe at him, leaving a series of deep scratches down that arm.

"Why you little...."

"Gya!" she snapped.

Bart glared at the defiant little pokegirl, and decided to brush her aside to get to the one that he really wanted to pound.

What he didn't realize was that she was a pokegirl, and that meant that she didn't have the simple punches and kicks that someone like him did. Because of that, her Waterspout attack wasn't expected by him at all.

It did clean him off some, even as it smacked him in the face and sent him falling backwards to the ground.

"Ha!" she barked in triumph.

"Looks like she's protective of you," Brock observed.

"That's a good thing," Ash idly commented. "Right?"

"Sure is."

"If only for ya!" the currently half drowned bully snarled from his position on the ground as he tried to roll over and push himself up on his hands and knees. "But now I have even more of a reason to pound ya!"

This was not missed by Misty, who took what she felt was appropriate action.

"Whoa, Flamethrower," her trainer murmured, an impressed tone in his voice.

The rock trainer glanced over at the short boy. "You didn't know that she could do that?"

"Hadn't seen it before."

"Ah."

For his part, Bart was not impressed, as he had just gotten a flame sent against his backside. Fortunately for him, he was still soaking wet, so it wasn't that easy to burn him, but it was not exactly a comfortable feeling either. In fact, he leapt up with both hands covering the wide girth of his backside, and yelped as he scrambled away from the source of the attacks coming against him.

Of course, Ash wasn't as displeased as the bully was about the attacks, and he mussed Misty's hair a bit as he smiled at her. "Thanks for the assist."

His starter pokegirl cooed happily, and leaned into the caress, while:
