"Fwsh nak mumble gruak," or something similar to that was being said by greasybadloud.
Master replied "nak grommish grup Misty navish Waterspout."
Misty knew what this meant. It meant that she was training. She reached out in the way she'd already learned, twisting things like so, and water shot from her hands to press against the opponent. He was braced now though, and didn't budge.
"Misty, Flamethrower."
Again she reached out, this time twisting things a little differently. Flame responded, twisting out to engulf the target. Greasybadloud screeched this time.
She prepared to pursue but heard a single "Misty" from her Master.
She understood that. She was learning more of this 'language' stuff as things went on. She envied those who picked it up in a few hours, but apparently that was NOT one of her skills.
"Why'd you have her douse him again before using flamethrower?" asked Brock.
"Cause that way the fire won't really hurt him that bad," said Ash, a gesture indicated the security cameras this market had in place. "They'll show he attacked, and we drove him off without injury."
"That's nice and all," said the clerk. "Now who's going to help me clean all this up?"
