“I’ll be back with your food in a few minutes,” smiled the short-haired blond, as she left their table, stopping only a few feet away to stare at Ranma, before she resumed her course back inside the restaurant to place their orders.
“You know Haruka?” asked Usa.
Ranma slowly nodded. “She looks like I girl I knew in school before we moved, and Pops enrolled me in that school I met Bacon Bits in,” he said.
Usa’s eyes widened. “What happened?”
“She kept bugging me,” sighed Ranma. “I swear, she was worse than Shampoo at times, always calling me her boyfriend, trying ta kiss me. I think she just liked it that I sparred with her for a while.”
“You? Sparring with a girl?”
“Well, she challenged me all the time, saying she’d prove girls weren’t weak. She was getting pretty good too, before we moved again.”
Usa slowly nodded.
“When I left, she even weired me out a bit, saying there would never be another boy for her.”
Usa could only try and keep her jaw from dropping. Haruka ... glomping a boy? Okay, she could understand a bit of the Outer’s desire for him.
But Haruka ... and Ranma? A couple? Haruka ... kissing a boy ... of her own free will? He was the reason Haruka had become a crossdresser and become a lesbian?
“You okay?” asked Ranma. “You just looked a little light headed.”
“I ... I’ll be fine,” muttered the Neo-Princess. I really need to do a check and make sure there are no other surprises like this one. I mean, what if he met my Mom and...
“You sure you’re okay?” asked Ranma, going to her side. “Ya just got real pale all of the sudden.”
“Yeah, just ... just had a bit of a problem pop up in my head,” she muttered, rubbing her forehead. Please don’t let him be my real Daddy! I mean, surely Mom could tell the difference between him and Endymion in a dark room! Right?
“Are you okay, Haruka?”
Said blond looked up towards Yuki, who was finishing her preparation of the dishes for the customers. “Just feeling a little off. I think I know one of the customers.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, but every time I try to place where I know him from, I keep getting a blank.”
“Well, it could be a bit from that past of yours that you have trouble remembering.”
Haruka slowly nodded. Her memories were spotty at best, after she woke up one morning a long time ago.
“Just go talk to him,” said Yuki. “You have a break coming up. After all, what’s the worst that could happen: he doesn’t have a clue who you are?”
“I guess you’re right,” said Haruka, as she placed the plates on the tray. “I just don’t want to cause any trouble. He seems to be on a date with a nice young woman.”
“Just ask him, Haruka.”
“Fine,” sighed the woman, as she left, not noticing how a camera was zooming in on her as she did so.
