“Now this is quite interesting, Saotome,” smirked Nabiki, as she grabbed a cracker off the table. “You’ve become a magic girl.”
“I ain’t no magic girl!” yelled Ranma.
“That’s right,” said Kerberos. “He’s a magic boy!”
Nabiki smirked, as she poured a bit of ice tea over Ranma, changing him to a she. “There, now Ranma’s a magic girl.”
Ranma just gritted her teeth, before staring at Windy. “Could ya please stop doing that?”
The Clow Card blushed, before ceasing the poking of Ranma’s breast. “I am sorry, Friend. Why are you a female now?” she asked.
“My Old Man,” growled Ranma, as Nabiki handed her a kettle with hot water. And thus, Ranma explained his Jusenkyo curse.
“Oh Kero-chan,” said Kasumi, “could Jusenkyo be a Clow Card?”
Kerberos pondered it for a few moments. “Nah, it sounds like it might be an experiment. Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards, was not the only sorcerer. Odds are it was created by a less-than-reputable one.”
“Do you think they could help cure Ranma-kun?” she asked.
“A cure?!” asked Ranma, eyes wide.
“Yeah,” smirked Nabiki. “I mean it isn’t like every other attempt at a cure hasn’t failed miserably before.”
Ranma just glared at her.
“That wasn’t very nice Nabiki,” admonished Kasumi. “Even if it is true, and we’ve seen no proof that Drowned Man water will cure Ranma-kun.”
“Friend-Ranma, are you alright?” asked Windy, seeing Ranma face-fault.
“We’ll have to put that aside for the moment,” said Kerberos, as he finished eating a cookie. “We need to start seeking out the other Clow Cards, before they begin to cause trouble.”
“Okay already,” said Ranma, rubbing the back of his head. “Let’s go get them then.”
“Good luck, Ranma-kun,” said Kasumi. “I’ll start on a congratulation dinner for you when you get back with some more new friends.”
“I’m coming too,” said Nabiki smiling.
“Why?” asked Ranma, a sense of dread coming over him.
“Like I’m going to miss something like this,” she said with a smile, as she pulled a camera from her backpack.
