Meeting Stryyp had been interesting to say the least. When fleeing from the Giantess, Tanya had picked up more speed than Jetta and ran while dragging her master by the shirt. It should be noted that Stryyp had tripped in the rush and face kissing the gravelly road.
After the Giantess had been taken cared of, the group immediately headed for the campsite after treating the cuts and scrapes on Stryyp. While it was lucky wouldn’t be a scar…
“Ouch… Ouch… OWWWW!”
It sure hurt like the dickens as Tanya the Enchantress dabbed the cuts with the vodka kindly provided by Ranma.
“Sorry master…” mumbled Tanya nervously, “Please bare with it a little bit more… and done!” The magical pokegirl beamed over her handiwork as she placed the last band-aid on her master’s face.
“Whew. Thanks Tanya. And thank you too for lending us the alcohol to use.” said Stryyp as he handed the bottle of Absolut Vodka back.
“You can keep it, its no problem.” replied Ranma as he let his girls out to stretch out and get a drink from the stream, which was mirrored by Stryyp.
As their pokegirls mingled with one another, Ranma popped a question, “So Stryyp huh?”
“Yes Ranma?” Stryyp face the pigtailed martial artist.
“Not to be rude, but I’m a bit puzzled by one thing, how come you look all furry like that?” asked Ranma.
“Oh that. Just take out your pokedex and you’ll see.”
Shrugging, Ranma complied and pointed the pokedex at the striped tamer.
“Pokeboy Gene Type: any Frequency: Very rare A Blood Gift/Curse that grants sons traits akin to their pokegirl mother. This Blood Gift (some consider it a Blood Curse) gives the individual physical traits (no special abilities save in certain circumstances, such as having cat eyes) of their mother. If mother was a Tigress then you would have some Tigress traits. It could be as simple as having feline eyes or a tail, to having striped fur or patterned hair. 1/3 of BE Dorado have some form of this Blood Gift.
Phase 1: Minor physical traits: hair color, build, ears, eyes, and teeth, minor things that may not be noticeable except under close scrutiny.
Phase 2: More noticeable traits: fur, feathers, or other obvious pokegirl traits.
Phase 3: Considered male version of a pokegirl: minus the powers, enhancements, attacks, and abilities if any applicable. Phase one is relatively common, phase two is not quite (BE Dorado 1/3 population is Phase 2), phase three is rare. Variations: see the possible phases, above.”
‘Well, that does explain it. I thought he was a were like back home,’ thought Ranma (note that Tanya didn’t say that they were aliens), ‘And here I thought I could go back to my hybrid form.’
“I have a question for you too. How did you get rid off the Giantess?” All I heard was some screaming and then it was nowhere to be seen,” asked Stryyp.
That was a very good question and all the surrounding pokegirls leaned closer to Ranma and Jetta to get an answer.
Jetta was struggling to come up with a plausible answer, but Ranma beat her to the punch by replying honestly.
“Ki blast struck the tip of its club, the fragments pierced the face and then it screamed. That’s where things got strange I saw it keeling over and it suddenly wasn’t there anymore.”
Ah. The wondrous art of honesty, leaving out details, like it had been him who had fired the ki blast.
“His telling the truth master,” said Archon as her forehead glowed a bit before stopping, she curiously asked Ranma, “How did you find it, Ranma? And did you see which pokegirl fired the ki blast?”
“Wait a second. Why was your head glowing back there? “ Asked Ranma.
Stryyp chuckled a bit before telling Ranma, “Archon over here is a Megami and she can do a little mind reading though only to tell what is someone’s intent is, we didn’t mean to offend you or anything…”
“That’s okay,” Ranma smiled good naturedly in return, “Just wanted to know what she was doing. The giantess more or less found us and I didn’t see any pokegirl fire any ki blast. Besides, if anybody owes someone an apology, it should be me and Jetta for casing the collision.”
“You don’t have to apologize for that, it was an accident and you were running from a Giantess after all…”
Ranma’s stomach chose that moment to rumble, he chuckled nervously.
“Would you like to join us for lunch? As a thanks for the vodka.” The striped tamer then offered.
“Well, since you offered… Who am I to turn down a meal,” the two of them shared a laugh along with the pokegirls before starting to prepare lunch.
