"Why didn't that work?" said L-Ranma, still in the form of L-Ranma. "Maybe if I try to use the Great Will to learn why..." sigils flared into life, written on the air around him.
"Oh," said L-Ranma. "Because Laharl and such aren't native to THIS universe, the Great Will Of The Universe doesn't have much effect. Got it. So I'm stuck with someone who's going to blow up the planet unless I do something... GOT IT!"
CRACKLE
Genma and the Guide looked back at the valley and saw the way the clouds began fleeing in all directions, tearing apart in their haste to find the horizons.
A moment later the wall of wind hit them, and Genma found himself hard pressed to remain upright against the sheer force of it. He squinted into that storm though, trying to see what was going on.
What he saw was walls of sheer rock erupting out of the ground, a glimpse of walls nearly a half-mile thick surrounding the valley of Jusenkyo and quickly rising up to the level of the now vanished clouds and then beyond.
As they finally stopped and began to change in color, darkening to a glistening black hue.
"Okay, I got the impenetrable fortress," said L-Ranma, trying to think of what kind of things a 'conquerer of earth' needed. "I got the summer home, which is that asteroid with the greenhouse. I got the teleport stones. I got the book of powerful magic spells for when I ain't got the Great Will to rely on. Food supply's okay. Water, nonmagical. Power source. Now, I need..."
L-Ranma made sure no one was looking, then checked the clipboard he'd made. "Mad scientist or sorcerer. Troops. Dark Generals. Hmmmm. Oh, I forgot the Giant Robot. Need to add that." scribble scribble "Errr. I ain't too sure about the monsters. Heck. I need an advisor or something. It ain't like I know how to do this."
