There were no straight lines anywhere.
Mira saw the ship design and commenced a dive below the treeline. "That has to be a Feryl WarEye. But what are the Feryl doing here?"
"Mira?! What was with that dive? Yeesh," complained Ranma.
Tarre chirped in, seconding Ranma's complaint.
"If those are actually Feryl, we need to get out of here fast," said Mira. "Those are the Amazons that the Delphins have been hunting down."
Ranma thought for a moment and remembered the Delphins. Those were those tall women. They were pretty nice, they always had something for him and operated a base in this sphere - though they didn't have much of a presence on this planet.
"They feel that men and women are natural enemies, and they typify males as either being cattle or breeders. Breeders are typically blinded, cattle are gelded." Mira explained to Tarre.
Being a black dragon, Tarre couldn't turn pale. She gave that impression though. "Eeewwww."
"It may just be goblinkin or something using a Feryl ship, it was probably damaged by the Delphins - who wouldn't care who was using it if they saw a Feryl ship they'd attack." Mira tried to crane her neck up and look.
"Aw, I ain't scared of no Amazons," offered Ranma.
"You should be," said Mira matter-of-factly. "They are expert assassins and reavers. The Delphins war with them began when the Feryl were welcomed as 'sister Amazons' and the Feryl used a very toxic weapon called Hellfire Dust to destroy a nursery for the crime of raising male children with females instead of keeping the males in cages."
Mira continued to tell what she knew of the Feryl and Tarre leaned away from the other two travellers to throw up.
Ranma wasn't scared, but it did sound like these Feryl were bad news. "So what do we do?"
"Well, I think we should," began Mira, "start with..."
