Ranma was used to being attacked for no good reason at all especially on Jade. But what really irked him was that this guy had attacked him while he was in human form.
“Say… that glaive looks familiar. Now where have I seen it before? Oh yeah! The Edge Guard, the Jagwere guy that Jane fought. Odd. Why would he be in human form?” Ranma mused, “He was fighting somebody till I came along, wonder who?”
Murkunts, or Ten-gals as they are called in the Edo league, are physically weak pokegirls though they enjoy picking fights and fighting dirty. The one in front of Ranma was no exception thus most experienced Edo league tamers are quite confident in taking them down without the help of their pokegirls.
Ranma was pretty much amused over whatever the birdlike woman in front of him was. He was not that surprised considering the different races on Jade, but as he had never seen bird ladies on Jade before he was studying her and noting that she was currently naked. He approached the girl to examine her injuries, when he laid one finger on her however…
Please note that in the wild, Murkunts usually flock in groups of two to three to larger flocks of twelve. They tend to ambush and double team on opponents while using various dirty tricks like kicking up sand or using a decoy.
No sooner had he done so, the Dark feathered girl gave a screech and numerous flying objects buzzed towards Ranma from all directions. When you get hunted by death squads, not all are that stupid to charge forward like a hockey team. Dodging the assault with ease and managing to deflect a dark bolt of energy from the bird woman in front of him, Ranma quickly regained his bearings and prepared to fight back.
Rebounding from a tree, he dodged several more buzzing objects, which upon closer examination were feathers. He kneed the first bird woman in the gut followed by a snap kick up her chin. She went down for good as she impacted against a tree.
Dodging more feather shurikens, he was caught off guard and pushed back by a sudden strong gust of wind and was nicked in several spots. Closing his eyes, he felt out the auras of his opponents, strange, but they were there. Hit by a bit of inspiration, he crossed his arms and swept them open, firing out numerous small ki blasts from his aura to the directions of his opponents. The ki blasts were a bit unstable on purpose. While some missed, they exploded on impact against trees and created shrapnel.
While it did flush out some of his attackers into sight, he was also showered with splinters from trees near him. Quickly working his way, he shook off some splinters and fired a ki blast at the nearest attacker, managing to clip her in the wing so he could land a flying kick.
Ranma stared as another strong wind blew plenty of leaves and dirt around him. He was already quite stressed when he woke up before he met up with the Edge Guard guy, he did not need this. Sweeping his arm, his fingers started glittering with his life energy, and removing the impromptu ‘smokescreen’.
‘Snarl!’
Isn’t it interesting that when Ranma unlocked his heritage, he had an easier access to the neko ken whenever he gets angry?
‘ROWL!!'
And blood spilled with dark feathers filling the air.
Insert a lot of merciless violence here.
In a few moments, Ranma had gathered all the downed bodies, taking some rope he found in Gar’s pack, bound the naked bird ladies together. Raiding Gar’s pack further for some food, and money, he then kicked the owner to a tree before tossing the pack at his face, receiving a groan from the owner stirring up from the pain. Idly trying to recall the direction of Seers hamlet before he leapt up to a tree and started tree branch hopping out of Gar’s vicinity.
“Uuuh… Argh! Sextome! Damn it…”
