The town of Seishun is also known as the Indigo league’s Greenpeace of the Edo league. Both believed in pokegirl rights but the only difference here is that Seishun believed that humans had to even the odds to a greater extent by making every human a superior martial artist to match pokegirls. But that was what all towns of the Edo league believed in anyway.
Unlike Grenpeacce though, it had a darker side to it, namely the not-so-underground fighting pits and the annual blood sports. There, human male would pit their fighting abilities against human male or less powerful pokegirls. Then again, so did almost every Edo league town. It was also the place where one of the few Spirit blacksmiths not found in the magical city of Vain or Vale academy resided.
This was definitely not Seers hamlet as Ranma stared at the sign and the modern buildings. Oh yeah, he was kinda screwed to wander in a world that was neither Jade nor his Earth.
“I guess the most logical thing to do would be to try and blend in and not attract too much attention.” He said to himself while he looked around for some motel he could stay in and learn about the world he was in.
On the streets, there were many of the strange animal women like the ones he saw on the way, performing intimate acts with what Ranma supposed would be their boyfriends. All had auras that seemed a little bit ‘off’ to the pigtailed martial artist.
“Hold still please.”
Almost jumping, Ranma followed the quiet, meek voice and found a weird looking girl with rainbow-colored eyes and silver hair with blue streaks. She wore a clean white shirt and jeans that clung onto her body and outlined her petite figure. The girl was busy sketching away furiously on a sketchpad. Blinking, Ranma just stood dumbly on the street watching the strange girl finish.
“Done.”
His eyes widened at the picture, checking himself, he was still in human form, still wearing the tunic and troll pants and yet the girl had drawn him exactly as his hybrid form save that he was definitely not wearing the tarnished armor she had sketched nor had he an eye patch or the scars in the drawing.
“You…”
“An Ar-tits can see a soul through the eyes of the bearer,” The strange girl cut him off, “Would you like to buy it?”
“Uuum… I guess so…” he replied nervously seeing that the girl had already figured out what he was, “How much?”
Before the girl could list the price however, that was when the attack began.
Team Ballista
While not notorious pokegirl thieves like Team Rocket or Trauma Team. Team Ballista is not a group of pokegirl thieves in the first place, they are thieves of technology and research and they are amongst the most violent Rocket-style Teams, only matched by Trauma Team.
Like other Rocket-style teams, they operate in teams, however only one or two members are on the field usually and they do not have pokegirls on themselves. They prefer to use weapons that they always carry on themselves and numerous stolen and military grade gadgets and vehicles. They use three men teams in the case of stealing vehicles and supplies.
They have to date stolen numerous military shipments and supplies and have claimed to have copied blue prints for construction of inventions and the warship Langoud’s former weapon designs. They have also assassinated several political figures and various businessmen and are believed to have stolen various vehicles for modification and use for their purposes and the leading distributors of cheap black market vehicles. They are also illegal arms traders and have successfully copied and improved on the Magun. It is believed that they provide the various Teams and gangsters with cheap stolen weapons in the black market as well as their own construction of illegal weapons which based on evidence, the less effective ones are mass produced for the black market while their own are of higher quality and efficiency and superior to standard military and police grade.
Their signature tactic is launching a ballistic missile, which is often used to stun and prevent an entire town from interfering with their business as well as drive away most pokegirls. Then they steal whatever they have come for and use their weapons on any opposition whom has not been affected by or recovered from their fist assault. At times, this is substituted with the use of a mortar or grenade launcher.
Members are seen to wear a helmet, gas mask, night visions goggles, and visors and generally have their face covered up and wearing dark fatigues similar to that of an unarmored gunvalkyrie (or you can refer to the enemy soldiers from Time Crisis 4 or the P.A.C. soldiers from battlefield 2142), their insignia usually located on their right sleeve is the pentagon arrow which has four bladed tips facing down and their motto, “Defying Impossible, Refining Improbable”. They are all armed with modified Maguns and several forgo it in favor of modified plasma or elemental rifles or an elemental pump-action shotgun. They can also be seen riding speeders and hover bikes. In one situation, they rode a hovertank and a chopper to assault and demolish a military research facility.
They have few members caught on film and only two recorded members. ‘Reckless Axel’, a young man with spiky red hair and known or using various high speed vehicles to make his entrance and detonates them to make his escape. He is the only recorded member who has never hidden his face, also very fond of shooting crowds, killing few but destroying much property and causing serious injuries among various civilians and officers. He is armed with two Maguns modified to keep spinning their blade shields and project elemental attacks as well as rapidly fire a chain linked AP and JHP ammo feed.
The second recorded member is ‘The Last Man Standing’, a very dangerous individual whom in his few recorded appearances destroyed entire facilities, buildings and military bases with few survivors whom are usually left permanently bed ridden from the encounter. Only identified for the lack of another term by his preference in close quarter combat followed by his excessive use of explosives. He is the only member whom is recorded to posses a cloaking device, it was recorded on live television when he de-cloaked upon killing an cameragirl and a archaeologist team to lay claim over one of Sukebe’s labs. He possesses two modified maguns with monofilament wire spinnerets (think Walter from Hellsing), One is equipped with a katar function and the other, a modified pokes’ plosive launcher
So far, no Team Ballista member has ever been captured. They were first seen operating in the Capital and Johto league and last seen operating around the Amethyst and Crescent moon league.
Momentarily stunned by the roaring sound of a rocket engine, Ranma managed to see a white missile hit a section of town not too far from his position. Followed by a huge ‘shockwave’ and a fog of white gas.
Instinctively transforming to hybrid form to prepare for battle, Ranma felt his ears ring and a mind-splitting headache as the worse of the shockwave passed through and a sudden bout of numbness and the his eyelids getting heavy much like one of Kodachi’s drugs as he breathed in the gas. Fortunately, weresmilodons and pretty much all werecreatures were made to regenerate instantly from this kind of stuff. The same could not be said for the majority of the civilians, as numerous unconscious bodies lay strewn on the streets.
Sighing, Ranma felt he was most likely going to regret this as he dashed towards the point of impact to investigate, slipping into the Goshin Dai Ryuusei Fu to avoid detection.
Unseen by all, a figure watches Ranma with interest from the top of another building before the figure itself fades.
Meanwhile…
“Uuuhh… Argh! Sextome! Damn it…”
Gar had woken up with a sore back and nose, swinging his head left and right, he cursed a bit more for getting defeated so easily by Sextome of all people. Then he looked up to see about twelve Ten-gals bound together in rope, some were unconscious, scarred and those few whom were barely conscious were cawing pathetically.
Gaping a bit at the sorry state of the dark avian pokegirls, Gar rushed to check his own pokegirls and was relieved to see that all three were fine and still within his possession. Letting out a deep breath, Gar picked himself up and yanked out his glaive, which was embedded in the ground. He had to get to the next town fast, there was a chance that Sextome was also heading there, though for what reason, he couldn’t care less, he only cared about saving his sister.
“Sheila! Big brother’s coming to save you!”
