Nothing was going to change the fact that Usagi was a bunnygirl, as if that had been the case, things would be different for all the pets. Instead, the blonde was an example of the sort of bunny that people would want to cuddle. She had a slim and delicate figure that fit in with her petite size, and even her small overbite seemed to be pretty in a fairly cute way. With her cheerful nature, and caring heart, she was pretty much the sort of pet that would constantly give her owner love, with a few more curves than the average bunny.
Though, if the lighting was right, Usagi seemed almost... ethereal to Akane, and reminded the human girl of the 'rabbit in the moon', for reasons that still escaped her.
On the other hand, Akane still couldn't figure out just why Rei was a bunnygirl too. When she thought of bunny rabbits, she thought of little things that hopped around fields and ate carrots. However, the raven haired girl was quite obviously not the sort of rabbit from a story book. If nothing else, most bunnies in the stories couldn't pull out spirit wards at a moment's notice, or had a temper that was fiery all on its own.
That wasn't to say that Rei didn't fit into the bunnygirl mould... her own particular way. She had purple tinted black ears and puffball tail to Usagi's white ones, but there was a slight difference in looks otherwise. Rather than having the blonde's almost... domesticated bunny side, Rei actually had a lot more in common with Playboy bunnies than the fluffy sort, or so it seemed at times. Her long legs were certainly shapely enough, and she seemed to have a natural habit to wear outfits that showed them off. So, it seemed that the brunette spent a lot of time in leotards, hose, miniskirts, shorts, stockings, and other garments that flattered her lower limbs. Of course, it was also rather odd that the girl seemed to have a habit of wearing some sort of high heels on her feet, mainly in shoes, but sometimes in boots, no matter what the environment was really like.
Well, if nothing else, Rei was certainly stubborn. With her willingness to argue, and Usagi's tendency to leap before looking, the two of them tended to argue a lot. Oddly enough though, they seemed to do so almost like they were sisters, which didn't seem to be all that far off the mark in considering them.
Akane looked over the pair of bunnygirls and sighed to herself as she tried to figure out just what this was going to do with her plans. As it was, she was going to have to deal with whatever was going to come her way. "Guys, could we just keep on going."
"Sure thing," Usagi chirped. "Why don't we?"
"I don't have an objection to that. There is one thing to keep in mind though," Rei murmured.
"What is that?"
"Keep an eye out for the 'Setsunas'. Remember, just because they passed by us once, won't mean that they won't come back."
"You have a point there," Makoto agreed.
All that Akane could do was nod, and hope that things would go smoother than she thought they were heading in, while:
