At least it kept her mind occupied with something other than the odd things that crept up from time to time. Sometimes she had flashes of... something popping up on her, which made it feel like she was about to remember something. But other than dreams that she could barely remember, or strange instances of familiarity with certain types of people or places, she couldn't come up with enough to justify the oddity of it all.
What she wanted was something that she was sure of. Okay, so it wasn't exactly the sort of thing that most girls would go for, but she had always been different. That much she was sure of, and she was a slave on top of that. As such, she had a particular outlook that was not the same as others. Of course, it wasn't exactly matching many of the other slave girls' demeanors, even the enthusiastic ones, but she didn't mind. Her own particular sort of behavior was fine for her.
"Your Master is here," said one of the attendants, pointing at the door. "If you'll just.... I suppose that I don't have to ask her to go...."
The eunuch's comment was right on the money, as Dita needed little impetus to rejoin her Master. As soon as she knew that he was available, she had gotten moving, and gone in the direction that the reception area was. It took her only a few moments to travel the distance, but when she got there, she was ready with her favored way of greeting her Master.
"Mister Alien!" she called out as she ran up to her owner and glomped onto him.
Ranma moved his head so that he wouldn't get her breasts mashed into his face as she bounced up and down as she held his arm. "Hi Dita...."
"Looks like they've failed in stopping her from calling you that, boy," Genma murmured with a small shake of his head.
"I kinda figured that one out on my own."
"Well, I know what you were hoping...."
"I guess that I'm not going to be gettin' what I wanted."
"Not everyone can get what they'd like. Normally, it'd be best to try and figure out another way to get what you desire," his father stated rather easily. "But with something this small...."
"The way that I figure it, I ain't gonna be gettin' her ta stop callin' me 'Mister Alien' any time soon."
Settling down so that her front was pressed against his side, Dita frowned worriedly at her Master. "You don't like it when I call you that?"
"Have I ever seemed ta like it?"
"You yelled a lot.... I just enjoyed calling you that. I mean, it's a fun nickname...."
"Not for me. I...." The pigtailed boy stopped and blinked at his slave girl. "Ya mean that ya can call me somethin' different?"
"Sure can, Master Ranma."
"Ya called me...."
"Uh-huh...."
"But, if ya knew my name, then why didn't ya call me that when ya came ta me just now...."
"It's what I always called you, Master Ranma. It'd have been strange if I called you something different for no reason."
Ranma opened his mouth to protest against that idea, but stopped himself from speaking, as he was already free of the annoying nickname. He didn't know if the reprieve would last, but he wanted to milk it for as long as he could. Besides, he had better things to do than complain right then, and so he relaxed a bit, and enjoyed the change in what she called him.
Seeing that her owner was at least accepting what she'd said, Dita smiled and snuggled against him, while:
