Chained World: Reflections [Episode 182945]

Ranma had no idea that he might have had a chance to meet this girl in another life, or hadn't when he'd originally gotten her. He had not grown up on the world of his birth, so it wasn't like he had an opportunity to come across people as he would have 'normally' done so. Instead, he simply knew that this slave girl would belong to him until one of them died, and that there were instances where the loyalty to one's master would last beyond the grave for some slaves. So, he had no reason to really imagine what it would have been like had he met the version of her from his own world.

But then, neither did Genma. He was perfectly aware that things in this world did not always match up with the one that he'd lived in until that... incident with the scroll. As it was, he could never be sure if the people here would even exist in some form in his world, never mind matching up.

So, he didn't really try hard to imagine what it would be like if things were different. He just wondered why it was that he had to be saddled with his son having a slavegirl at all. Sure, it did have some benefits, but the original idea for the trip had been to get away from soft influences. At least the boy was focusing in on teaching her the Art, as that was a welcome sight.

Now, if only he could get the boy to treat him with some respect, there would be some frustration taken off his thoughts about Ranma owning:
