Some, naturally, went further in their studies. Researching and developing entirely new things, using older things, and sometimes getting truly bizarre results.
"Ohohohohohohohohohoho!"
"AGH!" said Akane, looking absolutely terrified. "What's SHE doing here?!"
Someone landed in the backyard, her cloak briefly billowing in dramatic fashion behind her. "Akane Tendo."
"Kodachi! I. AM. NOT. INTO. GIRLS!" stated Akane, making various warding gestures.
"Nice outfit, leather and skulls, eh?" asked Nabiki.
"A little something from the Naga line," said Kodachi, preening. "Ah, Akane. Don't go after a boy when you could have ME. Why choose some fragile little limp piece of lettuce, when you could feast?"
"You heard huh?" said Akane. "Hey, I thought my father was useless but he pulled through for me now."
"oh, gee, thank you," said Soun, wincing.
"What do you mean 'you'?" asked Kasumi. "You have two sisters, you know."
"We could take turns," said Nabiki, thinking having a guy every third day sounded yummy.
"Poor Ranma," mumbled Soun, wondering if it was too late to warn the Saotome pair off.
