Akane's Labor: Jedi Mind Tricks [Episode 18348]

The typical cast of Nerima regulars from a Ranmaverse were mostly martial artists of high to downright insanely powered martial artists.

However, mental discipline and self control were not very much in evidence. Which meant, among other things, that a halfway decent telepath with a couple of Attack Modes could have beaten the pants (or skirt) off of nearly everyone in Nerima - including Happosai.

Since Anything Goes was her martial arts style, and the basis of the style was unthinking reaction and a lack of self-control, pitting her against someone with even moderate telepathic abilities was rather like taking a foo-foo dog (for example: a chihuahua) and sending it into battle against a hungry polar bear.

"You want to try telling us the truth now?" Xiang insisted. "You didn't even know to check the outer hull for tracking devices when we got away that easily! Bing had to find it!"

"Uhm 'tracking devices'? That's bad isn't it?" Akane flinched. Oh kami, her cover was blown. Her score was probably so far in the red she'd be stuck doing sanitation duty.

"She was telling the truth," Loren said quietly. "This is most curious, Tenso."

"You faked records to show yourself as more experienced?" Xiang looked anew at the Captain. "Or a friend of yours did. But why would you want to do that?"

Akane gulped and began to sweat as she realized that being a Jedi must mean being able to detect lies or something. That being the case:
