Ranma tried to catch a nap. Operative word tried. He was certainly tired enough.
As he lay there, now without the Great Will to smooth over problems, he couldn't help but realize how many problems he could be facing when he stepped back out again.
Ranma closed his eyes and tried to will himself to sleep, even if he didn't have a Great Will anymore.
"Now THIS," proclaimed Minako, lazing back and looking particularly pleased, "is a BATH."
"Yeah, so?" asked Etna, sizing up these girls briefly before dismissing them for whatever sinister purposes she might have had.
"It's a dirty trick to get us to lower our guard," said Rei Hino.
"If we defeat the evil Overlord, does that mean we can't come back here?" asked Usagi.
"I- " CHOING! went Minako.
"Hmmmm?" asked her companions, glancing at her, then extrapolating where her gaze had affixed itself.
Holding a small towel in front of himself, a young man was sitting farther in. The swirls of steam moved to conceal him again as they watched.
"Well, it DID say 'mixed bathing'," noted Ami, sinking fairly far into the water and turning bright red.
"No doubt a Dark General," said Rei.
"I'll check," said Minako, her eyes gleaming as she left her seat. "If, uhm, I'm not back in an hour..."
"Come rescue you?" asked Usagi.
"Send a 'Congratulations' card?" asked Rei, a little more drily.
"Yeah, something like that," said Minako, a little distracted as she made her way towards her prey victim new friend.
"Okay, what do we know about this evil Overlord?" asked Makoto.
"He hires cute little mooglies," said Usagi.
"He has giant robots," said Rei.
"He has access to a combination of magic and technology," said Ami.
"He has minions and rivals, Dood," said a Prinny, walking along the edge of the pool while carrying a tray of drinks.
"That too," said Usagi before doing a double-take. "He has those kinda-scary penguin-thingies too."
"Minako's giving us a 'thumb's up'," noted Makoto. "She's leaving with some guy?"
"That's a first," said Usagi. "Maybe she can find out more about that guy."
"Doods. That was Prince Herb of the Musk Kingdom," said a Prinny as it returned past them with an empty tray.
"Rival or minion?" asked Rei.
The Prinny stopped and seemed to think about it a little before answering. "Rival. I think. You might check with the Information Desk."
"Information Desk?" asked Rei, blinking at the idea.
"First floor, next to the receptionist," said the Prinny, walking a little faster now apparently to make up for time lost in the pursuit of tips.
