The woman was tall, and had a beauty that should have made her an object for a good many 'long looks'. With her dark locks, lovely features, full breasts, and long legs, she had all that was needed for being able to use her looks to her advantage. However, rather than merely bringing up the possibility of kissing her full lips, one could almost feel that something bad would be said with them. She had an air that was the sort of dark and predatory one that would come from certain types of snake. They were certainly pretty to look at, but one wouldn't want to come across that sort of poisonous creature in the wrong way.

She was 'Madame Marciano', and not many people ever dared to cross her.

For a woman to reach the sort of position that she had, one had to be rather ruthless and dangerous, and she was both. There were no qualms that she could find in herself about a lot of what she did, and when she'd gone into the 'dark' side of the world, it hadn't seemed to be all that hard for her to adapt to it. Some had considered her to be an easy mark at first glance, but those who still tried to go after her even after they'd noticed the threat implicit in her being also tended to be the ones who didn't survive their 'attempts'.

Of course, there were some things that even she couldn't stop, and one of them was the comments of others. The girls who'd been mentioned by the man who'd come to her were the 'Twelve Sisters', each named after a month of the year, and she knew that they had already been called hers by a good chunk of those who knew about them. Not that she was all that put out by that fact, as she was supposed to become a 'mother' figure for them. She didn't mind that all that much, and, in fact, was looking forward to a long time of having them as her 'children'.

However, with this particular event, it seemed that things weren't going to go how she might like it. If the 'Twelve Sisters' were truly gone, then they cost of developing them would be lost, but there would also be no chance to get some use of them. That didn't even bring into it the fact that they had gotten out of the facility on their own, and apparently destroyed it, which would cost them any more.

Madame Marciano was not a nice woman, but she also wasn't a stupid one. She knew exactly what this could mean, and wasn't about to let it ruin her plans. Instead, she considered what options she had, while:
