"Each of the various holidays and spiritual events has its own spirit," explained Setsuna. "Now is when they start being destroyed."
"Excuse me?" Minako practically squealed.
"Now that 'Father Christmas' and his reindeer are dead, the others will start showing up," continued Setsuna. "In the Silver Millenium, the future begun by Usagi, there are no holidays except the Queen's Ascension Day - the anniversary of when you took power. Now with Christmas dead - the holiday will lose any significance at all, even the industry will stop seeing the point and it will become just another day like any other. Except for religious fanatics but that will be something she deals with later."
"What?" The Inners all cried out.
"Excuse me, I'm going to go get very very drunk before Usagi does something about that." Setsuna left, shaking her head in disgust.
"Ah, we have angst and suffering, because in order to follow our duty and pave the way for Crystal Tokyo," said Sailor Uranus, posing slightly. "Therefore we are cool."
"True," admitted Sailor Neptune.
Makoto sniffled as she picked up what was left of her present. "Damn..."
