"S-Santa is dead," she wailed, as Luna shook her head sadly.
A new voice broke in.
"Damn! I was hoping to kill him myself."
Both Luna and Usagi looked at the source of the voice and spotted a small bunny rabbit. It would look adorable, except it was carrying a blood splattered switchblade.
Usagi asked, "W-who are you? Wh-what are you?"
The bunny leaned on the switchblade and replied, "I am Bun-bun. I have been trying to kill Santa for years now."
Luna asked, "Why?"
"I have my reasons. So the fat man bought it at someone else's hands? Oh well."
"Y-yes. The Outer Sailor Senshi did it. They said that they/we will kill all the other holidays to pave a way for the future."
Bun-bun stopped before leaping out the window. "Hmm. That could be a problem. Where do you stand?"
"Santa was good and I see no reason for him to be killed. Why do you want to know?"
"Oh. No reason. I'll be in touch. By the way, Christmas isn't fully dead yet."
"Huh? But with Santa Claus dead...."
"Mrs. Claus is still alive. So are Jack Frost, Frosty, The Sugar-Plum Fairy, and most of Santa's elves. I should know."
Usagi dried her eyes and smiled. "Thank you. I'm not going to let Christmas die, because of some scripted future."

Sailor Pluto felt a shudder, as she was drinking some vodka. Looking into the Time Gates, she saw what had caused the shudder.
"Bun-bun? Who is Bun-bun?"
Checking Bun-bun's past, she was horrified to discover that he was both The Easter Bunny and the host to the Groundhog Day's Shadow and how he got that way.
"That was not supposed to happen. Mecha Easter Bunny? I wondered what caused all that turmoil in the Nerima District."
Sailor Pluto sighed. "It looks like Haruka, Michiru, and I will have to get rid of Bun-bun for the good of Crystal Tokyo. I guess we'll have to work around Usagi. It's for her own good."
