"Uhm, no," admitted Setsuna.
"Uranus Planet Power Make UP!" "Neptune Planet Power Make UP!"
The Inners found something new to gawk at.
"You're not going to..." Minako squeaked.
"Ah, here it is!" Santa proclaimed, holding a colorful package aloft. "Even for a sailor suited warrior of love and justice, you've been an exceptionally good girl, Makoto Kino, so one of your fondest wishes..."
"World Shaking!" "Deep Submerging!"
Santa blinked. He knew those two had been all sorts of naughty, and he was sufficiently progressive that he wasn't thinking of their relationship, but this was a bit much.
The Inners looked at the smouldering and soggy bits of colored paper, the smashed up sleigh, and the little bits of tinsel and candy canes scattered about, as well as four flattened and the rest scattered reindeer. "Oh heck."
"That's it. First the worldwide emphasis on getting instead of giving. Seperating it from the origins wasn't too bad- sort of thing happens all the time after all. Gotta change with the times as long as they get the spirit right. Then the crap from people like that school board in Texas who feel the whole thing is too Judeo-Christian even with all the references to the origins taken out and have their kids forced to pray and do festivals for Cthulhu and any other two-bit religion to promote understanding while they can't even say the word 'Christmas' in school." Santa's gloved hand grabbed the sphere of another World Shaking aimed at him and crushed it while looking more peeved than ever. "Then last year, how many genuinely good little boys and girls were there in the world? Twelve! Now you two decide you're gonna off the old bugger because of your own prejudices and agenda? That is IT!"
