She wasn't going to scream at the sight of a male form in the room.

That wasn't because she didn't want to, since going with her first instinct would have her screeching so loudly that it would have echoed off of the walls. But if she did that, then she would cause all sorts of problems, including the fact that she would increase the throbbing in her head that was already making it ache. As she didn't want that, or to make the strange guy jump into a panic. Instead, she was going to take this rationally, calmly, and with the appropriate behaviors.

Then she'd go and kill him, as it was entirely likely that he'd taken advantage of a drunk young woman who hadn't realized that she was getting drunk. She didn't know about the other girl, but she wasn't the sort of woman who just leapt into a guy's bed on a moment's notice. That sort of behavior was left to those girls who weren't in control of their hormones, and she'd handled hers well enough, thank you very much.

So, she moved as much as her body and keeping 'secrecy' would allow, and looked him over. There wasn't much to tell from that position, but then she'd already known that. She'd just had the sort of hope that one had when holding out for a burst of luck. Instead, the room stayed the same, and she was still looking at a form that was certainly male.
