“She did … what?” asked Sarutobi, trying to decide whether the appropriate response would be to laugh or pale.
Kakashi sighed. “After I introduced her to the team, I had her name her likes and dislikes,” said the white-haired man.
“My name is Naru Uzumaki,” said the blond-haired female genin. “I like my new brother, Anko-sensei, ramen, and hanging out with my friends. I hate lazy trainers, bratty girls, and emo-bastards who steal first kisses,” she said, glaring at Sasuke.
Said emo-bastard Uchiha just snorted.
“First kiss?” asked Sakura, part of her upset that in some world, Sasuke’s first kiss was stolen lost to this girl.
Sighing, Naru began to tell a slightly edited version of what had happened in her world.
“Wow,” said Naruto. “That happened to me too.”
“… What?” growled the blond female, as she grabbed a kunai, her eyes focused on the last Uchiha.
“After Naruto finished telling his story, Naru immediately attempted to … ‘neuter’ Sasuke, I believe is what she called it.”
“I take it she didn’t succeed,” said Sarutobi, smiling slightly.
“I had to intervene a few times, but overall, it did add a nice dimension to our combat training today.”
“Anything else?” asked Sarutobi, barely keeping himself from laughing out loud.
“Well,” said Kakashi, nervously scratching his head.
“Why are we looking for this Jounin?” asked Naruto, following his sister.
Naru snorted. “Because I want to keep training under her.”
“But Kakashi’s our team leader,” said Naruto.
“So?” she asked. “He was mine in my world, didn’t stop me from seeking out further training from Anko-sensei.” She paused, looking around for a particular establishment that her Anko-sensei always ate at this time of day. “Besides, you need some training too.”
“Hey, I’m great!” said Naruto.
“No you’re not,” she said, slowing her walk as she tried to listen for her teacher. “Hell, you were barely able to follow me that last half hour.
“Could have used your help too,” she muttered. “I’m pretty sure Kakashi-sensei was keeping me from actually hitting the target,” she muttered.
“Please,” said Naruto, “I could take you any day of the week,” he proclaimed.
“You keep thinking that,” she smirked, as she spotted her target. “How about we set up a spar tomorrow and find out. Unless of course, you’re afraid your new sister can kick your ass?” she said.
“And?” asked Sarutobi.
“From what I heard, they fought in the street with Anko as the referee,” he said.
“Who won?”
Kakashi sighed, remembering the gleam in Anko’s eyes when she finished. “Not us. Anko’s agreed to teach them.”
