Of course, given the bikini tops that she wore from time to time, including the ones that had cups that were like sea shells, she got some rather interesting and pleasing reactions, especially from her Master and Akane.
However, she wasn't exactly the same on land as she was in the water. Being able to have her tail turn into a pair of shapely legs was quite welcome, as it cleared up some possible difficulties, not all of which were intimacy related. Still, even if she could play the violin as she floated on the water, or on a stage, her legs were not meant for the same thing as 'land people' would have them. She could travel for long distances on them, but it was very difficult to do so. She was meant to swim, not go for long jogs, and she hadn't exactly been much of a runner in the first place.
The truth of the matter was that she was more of a creature of the water and the sea than of dry land. Being kept in an 'aquarium' would be fine by her, as she didn't have any reason to be against Ranma wanting it to be the case. But as much as she didn't concern herself about not having the sea to 'frolic' in, she wasn't all that keen on walking for much time at all. To be honest, she'd have preferred to be able to swim from spot to spot, but given the direction that they were going in, it didn't seem that she'd be doing a great deal of that anytime soon.
Not that she blamed Akane for that little problem, as the girl was trying to find a spot in the mountains to train, not go for a swim.
"Are you okay?" Haruka asked, concern plainly showing on her face.
Michiru waved one slim hand with an easy grace. "I'm fine."
"But, you're not exactly...."
"I know, but I haven't reached my limit. I'll rest later. Right now though...."
"You want us to keep going."
"Exactly," the mermaid murmured, and gave a small smile. "And who knows? We might find a nice pool of water for me to relax in."
The blonde nodded, and allowed the discussion to be halted for the moment, while:
