That made it all the more odd that her eyes lost their focus and her jaw fell open as she wandered away from the group.
"Where is she going?" Kimiko asked no one in particular, having been jolted from her consideration of the possibility of getting gardening supplies for Makoto.
An answer still came to her from Rei. "I'd say that she found something that she really likes."
"Enough that she'd start walking away?"
"Yeah. We've all got something like that. I mean, you've seen how Minako and I.... Well, you know we like...."
"Yes, I understand that," the Tendo Matriarch confirmed, and frowned thoughtfully at the young pokegirl. "But what does that have to do with her."
"A lot. Sometimes, if we really like something, we'll go for it. We can keep ourselves from keeping on going there if we try, but...."
"You're still... young."
"Yeah. It's like catnip with Minako."
"That's bad?"
"She has to react when they get into that stuff. You don't want her getting into the stuff," the Firebrand told her.
"Ohh.... And Ami?"
"She's a Nerdette, and they've always liked those sort of 'technical' things. If you let her, she'll make all sorts of neat things, except...."
"Yes?"
"She really gets caught up in that stuff. I mean, she won't even notice that time's going by."
"Ah, so that's why she's going to that store. She's already imagining what she could do with those things," Kimiko murmured.
"Pretty much."
Having recognized what Rei was talking about, Ranma peered around the packages and saw that the blue haired pokegirl was currently going into a store, looking almost like she was drooling. "Aw hell...."
His reaction was natural, given that he knew how things would likely go, now that she'd entered the 'Mr.Fixit' store.
The other pokegirls looked at each other, sharing in their acknowledgement of the familiarity of the situation, while:
