There were spells that were combat oriented, spells that were support oriented, and spells that he wondered if he'd ever cast right.
Of course, there was his specialty attack. He'd worked out that quickly enough. His was a combination of flying kick and the Flans Saltatio Pulverea to accelerate it. He called it the Hurricane Kick until he'd heard someone else had a move with the same name.
He had his bo staff (which was also his wizard staff) so that he could fly and pull off manuevers like Flans Paries Venti Vertenis - conjuring a cyclone. Well, pull them off easier.
"I got special manuevers," sing-songed Ranma as he hid from his father.
