Usagi took a moment to stare at 'Thud.' Somehow, she expected an Ogre to be more... well, primitive. Sure, he was much taller than she was, since he had to slump over to even fit in her room, and very muscular. The Greenish-Brown skin was right, and the jagged tusks matched.
But the three piece suit, well groomed hair, and glasses kinda took the bite out of any intimidation he might have had.
"So, all of you are mythological creatures? You mean like dragons and fairies and unicorns?"
Thud shuddered. "Yes, we are. But please, don't mention the unicorns."
Usagi blinked. "Why not? Aren't they peaceful, gentle, and wise things?"
Thud stared at Usagi. "Oi. Something tells me all the stories about us got mixed up since we've been gone. Unicorns are the most vicious, evil, and cruel carnivores it has ever been my displeasure to encounter. They especially love the taste of human virgins." Thud shuddered again. "I'm no plant eater myself, miss, but I at least prefer my food dead. Preferably well cooked and tastily spiced. And how anything can like the taste of humans, I don't know. Now rat is good eating..."
While Thud went on talking about the culinary merits of rats, Usagi pulled out her communicator... she had to tell the others about this!
