Michiru thought the boy, Ranma, didn't look at all comfortable with the way things had turned out.

Of course, hearing someone singing THAT song from "the Mikado" was a sign of how bad it was. She well knew the old Gilbert & Sullivan opera. She was quite familiar with the segment that went:

My object all sublime
I shall achieve in time —
To let the punishment fit the crime —
The punishment fit the crime;
And make each prisoner pent
Unwillingly represent
A source of innocent merriment!
Of innocent merriment!

Since they'd been, according to Setsuna's tale, been trying to sneak off with certain maids and do naughty things it meant that they'd have to be naughtily 'pent' wouldn't they? Well, that was what had happened to be sure.

The various maids running around seemed to think this was amusing. Well, they wouldn't if it had happened to them, Michiru was fairly sure of that.

It was inelegant of her to be shibari bound like this and placed on a pedestal in the garden. Struggling briefly in the silken cords revealed that, yes indeed, certain cords did tighten and were placed in rather delicate areas. The thick leather collar with its leash hooked to an eyebolt just meant that she wouldn't be getting off that pedestal in a hurry.
