“Dammit, I can’t seem to get it! My chakra control can’t suck this much!”
It has been seven hours since Naruto started to learn the Chakra Fighting Theory. Unfortunately his progress has hit a wall.
“I can cover myself with chakra easy enough, but I can’t seem to put it back in my body. I’ve got to be missing something…”
Naruto unclasped the Forbidden Scroll from his back and unraveled it. Naruto understood the basics of the technique. He was basically using chakra strength to boost his body strength. He had it half way down. His strength seemed to increase when he covered his body with chakra, but when he tried to compact it, his chakra would burst out of his body leaving him tired with his body burning on the inside. Luckily the pain didn’t last long because he seemed to heal so quickly.
Naruto continued scouring the scroll for any hints when the sound of rustling bushes alerted his attention. Quickly jumping back, he took a defensive stance as he watched the rustling bushes for any threats.
To his surprise, a little girl in a kimono came out.
“Hey onii-san, whatcha doing.”
The girl gave a cute clueless expression. Seeing this, Naruto dropped his guard and lowered his Kunai. The girl was obviously not a threat. In fact the girl only reached his waist height and he grudgingly admitted he was pretty short for his age.
He walked up to her and gave her an angry leer.
“Oi, brat what the hell are you doing out here in this forest? You’ll get yourself killed or something!”
The girl recoiled and scrunched up her face as tears started to fall down her cheeks.
“Bu-but, I’m lost.”
Naruto sighed in defeat. There was no way he could deny the crying girl.
“Alright chibi, I’ll help you home. Now, where do you live?”
The girl’s face seem to instantly light up with her eyes sparkling.
“Really onii-san? Thank you very much! Me and my friends are very happy!”
Naruto caught her words and froze in mid step.
“Eh? What friends?”
Suddenly the warmth that had surrounded the little girl had instantly vanished, replaced with an inhuman aura filled with enormous hunger and killing intent. She was no longer smiling sweetly, but was wearing a vicious grin similar to a hyena looking at its prey.
“Why all my friends behind me of course.”
Numerous sets of eyes illuminated the darkness. All of them glaring evilly at Naruto. Suddenly fifteen shadows jumped out of the trees and surrounded the clearing. The girl gave an evil laugh.
“Well little piggy lets PLAY!”
The girl then literally tore to pieces as something vile that vaguely looked like a man bursted from her skin. The shadows closed in around him and stepped into the light. Naruto’s eyes widened with fear. These… creatures could not be human. Many of them had sharp teeth or long tongues or other strange appendages. Their eyes gleamed manically with hunger, their hands seemed to twitch with restlessness, and many were foaming at the mouth.
And every single one seemed to be staring at him.
“Wh-who are you? What happened to that little girl?”
The thing that tore out of the girl’s body smiled wickedly.
“Kehehehe, the little girly tasted so good in my stomach. Yes, had lots of yummy fat and made delicious screams.”
Naruto looked at it in disbelief.
“Y-you ate her?!”
“Yes, yes, she was a good meal. Now why don’t you join her IN MY BELLY!”
The monster then charged at him. The blades in its hands glinted as they came closer and closer, ready to skewer Naruto.
BA-THUMP
BA-THUMP
‘I’m gonna die.’
BA-THUMP
BA-THUMP
‘I’m gonna die and these monsters are going to eat me.’
BA-THUMP
BA-THUMP
‘I don’t want to die.’
BA-THUMP
BA-THUMP
‘I REFUSE TO DIE!’
CLANG
The monster was shocked as Naruto’s kunai met his blade.
“I WON’T DIE! NOT TO BASTARDS LIKE YOU! I’LL MAKE YOU ALL PAY!”
Naruto leapt back from the deadlock and formed a hand seal.
“KAGE BUSHIN NO JUTSU!”
Then he and all of his clones made another hand seal.
“HENGE!”
The monsters became shocked and confused as 30 more Narutos popped into existence, and then transformed into them.
“Kehehehe, little piggy is hiding. I guess we kill ‘till we gut the little pig!”
To Naruto’s horror, the monsters started viciously attacking each other. They did not seem to care if they killed one another. They attacked without remorse, only an insatiable hunger for blood. It was the worse thing Naruto had ever seen.
(Break)
Ten minutes later the massacre was over. His bushins were all destroyed and the monsters had killed each other. It was a gruesome sight that Naruto would never forget. Said boy had finally dropped his henge and was furiously trying to rub the blood and grime off of himself.
“Is this what being a ninja is like? All of this vicious killing and slaughter?”
To his horror, he received an answer.
“Kehehehe, this is what life is like little piggy. The weak die! The strong kill! That is life!”
Naruto turned around and saw one of the monsters still standing. With his right arm missing and blood soaking his shirt he was truly a gruesome sight.
“Now be a good weakling and DIE!”
The monster charged at him with all intent to impale him. But this time was different. This time Naruto would not freeze. He cocked back his arm.
‘First layer your body with chakra.’
His arm seemed to glow and wildly pulsate as chakra covered it.
‘Then compact it internally.’
His arm no longer pulsated, but the glow only seemed to get brighter.
‘And release it all in an instant!’
“DIE PIG!”
“HAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
It was not a punch of explosive power that was released. No, It a beam of energy piercing through the monster’s torso, disintegrating it.
“But…all…outsiders…are…”
The monster was dead.
Bile started to build up in Naruto’s throat as he saw what he had done. He was feeling woozy and started to loose his balance. His thoughts were not on the technique, but on the monster.
‘I killed…am I a monster?’
As he slumped backwards, Naruto felt a pair of hands before he fell into unconsciousness.
(BREAK)
Deep within the black forest of Aokigahara lied a cave illuminated by the various candles with names surrounding it. This cave was sacred ground to the clan of Mibu. Currently in this cave was a very feminine looking boy with white hair and a gentle visage on his face. He seemed to be lighting a candle.
“A new flame has appeared. Is he of chaos is he of order? Is he useful or will he stand against us? Uzumaki Naruto, where does your destiny lie?”
(BREAK)
Meanwhile, Naruto started to stir as he regained consciousness. He felt like shit and did not want to wake up.
“Hey are you alright?”
Naruto heard someone’s voice and opened his eyes to see…
