“Are you alright?”
Naruto’s eyes fluttered at the sound of these words. A groan escaped his lips as a jolt of pain shot through his body, indicating that he wasn’t dead. Confusion clouded his mind.
What had happened?
How had he gotten here?
Then it all returned to him in an instant.
The technique. The forest. The monsters. Everything.
Naruto stood up and hunched over his stomach as he hurled all of the bile he had been holding before.
“Well that is quite a mess you made Naruto-kun.”
Naruto, his vision blurry from hurling and fatigue could barely make out a glowing ethereal figure.
“Wh-who are you?”
The figure came closer and she, since the person could only be a girl, guided Naruto to a futon. “Naruto-kun I am the sword smith Muramasa, I caught you when you fainted from your fight with the forest dwellers and carried you to my home. And no, I am not a girl.”
Millions of thoughts and questions swam through Naruto’s mind about how this person knew his name and such. But living up to his name as Konoha’s number one knuckle head, he used the deadly foot in mouth technique.
“Are you a transvestite?”

“AAAACHOOOOO!!!”
Startled by the sound, thousands of birds flew out of the Sea of Trees in Aokigahara. The owner of said sound sniffled as “she” wiped “her” nose.
“Someone must be talking about me. I hope it’s Kyo-sama!”
After readjusting the pork buns hidden in “her” clothes, the “woman” skipped merrily though the Black Forest continuing “her” previous thoughts on a certain medical operation so “she” could be with “her” beloved Kyo-sama, totally ignoring the trail of dried up corpses behind “her”.

Somewhere in the land of Mibu, Tokito was confused as “he” felt a surge of satisfaction and dread.

Naruto stared.
Muramasa stared back.
A cold sweat trickled down Naruto’s neck as an intense atmosphere permeated through the room.
The smile on Muramasa’s face seemed frozen in place.
The tension continued to build up.
“So…you’re not a transvestite?”
The tension seemed to reach critical levels as the question hung in the air.
“No Naruto-kun, I can fully assure you I am fully male.”
The tension broke and disappeared as suddenly as it came.
Naruto gave a sigh of relief. “Erm… thanks for helping me back at the forest.”
The mood seemed to brighten as Muramasa’s perpetual smile became less strained. “Think nothing of it Naruto-kun. After all, you are a most interesting child. To have defeated the denizens of the black forest is one thing, but to create flesh and blood doppelgangers, use transformations, and thrust solid energy is a most interesting feat for someone of your caliber.”
Taking this as an insult, Naruto’s face began to boil with anger. “What do you mean someone of my caliber?!” he shouted.
Muramasa’s smiling face suddenly became very serious and very cold in a split second. “What I mean is, how can someone with no skill, no control, and no experience hold so much power? To be able to come here from a different world through a fluke seems impossible.”
The change startled Naruto so much that he jumped back against the wall. Who was this person really? “I will introduce myself once again. I am the swordsmith Muramasa, master of the Mumyo Jinpu Ryu School, and one of the strongest samurai in the land. And Uzumaki Naruto of Konoha, I have read your mind.”
(BREAK)
“What?”
The messenger recoiled at the amount of malice contained in the short question.
“I-It is as I said Tokito-sama. The traitor M-Muramasa had taken the target before we c-could retrieve him.”
A frown broke over Tokito’s beautiful visage. It seemed as if Muramasa was interfering again.
What a nuisance.
A chance to control unimaginable power and techniques of another world, gone because of him.
Killer intent burst from Tokito as “his” ethereal appearance became murderous.
“Sh-should w-we g-go g-get h-him?” asked one of the soldiers who looked like he was on the verge of fainting from Tokito’s monstrous killer intent.
The killer intent stopped.
The murderous atmosphere disappeared.
Tokito’s face returned to its beautiful visage.
“There is no need. Muramasa’s fate has already been written. I will bide my time and the power of a true demon shall be mine…”
(BREAK)
Meanwhile…
