"Married to too too cute Chinese girl."
Ryoga stopped, lowered his fist from where he'd been brandishing it against the heavens (Theatre-style Martial Arts, Pose Of Righteous Declaration) and assumed a less threatening pose. "Uhm. Not so much THAT. Having that Mousse guy show up to try and make shish-kebob isn't exactly a good thing."
"Stupid Mousse make honeymoon much less certain thing," admitted Xianghua, as she wrapped her arms around him from behind. "No expect him to come out from ceiling. So we ambush this 'Ranma' then airen take Xianghua to romantic place?"
"That's the plan," said Ryoga.
"Got it," said Nabiki.
"Got what?" asked Akane, curious. That Nabiki was currently wearing darn little and had bound her feet together was not something to concern herself with.
"Ranma Saotome's basic data," said Nabiki. "Ah, good. Everyone's here."
"Father isn't here," pointed out Kasumi as she eased the door closed behind her.
"Well, everyone who is going to be a slave to this boy is here," said Nabiki.
"You've accessed the Bureau's website?" asked Kasumi as she saw the displays on the computer.
"Yeah, Taki's computer is coming in handy for more than posts for demonslayers," said Nabiki. "He's apparently already got one slave - one of those experimental genengineered ones. That's why they've got a file on him."
"Hmmm," hmmmed Akane, looking over her sister's shoulder. "He's fought the Yakuza and he's still alive?"
"According to this he was training in the martial arts in Kobe when he ran across the police being ambushed by the Shimoda cell. He saw a hostage situation with a little girl, dead police, and intervened. Not much detail here but the Shimoda Kansai Yakuza cell was pretty much crushed a year later."
"Shimoda-Kansai?" mused Akane. "Okay. Know them. They provided a few women for the pit fights. Mostly trained in armor skin and iron fist. 'Bricks' in the lingo. Some of them were pretty tough. They stopped operations three years ago."
"That was when this all occurred," said Nabiki, nodding. "That fits. They apparently crossed a line somewhere, none of the other Yakuza families came to their aid."
"Which may or may not mean that Master Ranma is targetted for Yakuza vengeance," said Kasumi.
"Yeah," said Akane. "Hard to tell."
"If he's willing to fight them, then my own specialty is likely to be allowed," said Taki.
"I'd say so," said Nabiki. "See this? He's fought yokai as part of his training. Says here that he's learned some sword techniques from tengu on Thundercrest Mountain."
"Oh?" came a much more interested-sounding response from both Akane and Taki.
Akane raised an eyebrow. She'd heard of tengu-trained fighters but hadn't run across any. For one thing, they did NOT accept just anyone. Just finding them when they didn't want to be found was unlikely. There would have to be something very unusual about the boy just for them to show themselves.
"There's more," said Taki, leaning closer to the screen. It was HER computer after all. "Apparently-"
