Unfortunately, he couldn't blame all of his bad luck on that singular individual. Sure, if he hadn't been searching for a way to beat Ranma, he might have never traveled as far as he had. As it was, the pigtailed boy had not been anywhere near where Ryoga had wound up getting into so much trouble, so, he couldn't be directly blamed for what had happened. And the 'Lost Boy' really wanted to be able to blame someone else for his little escapade.
Of course, he hadn't expected to stumble into that little village. It wasn't like the place had been largely marked on a map, even if he couldn't really use one. Only his lousy sense of direction had sent him to stumbling over those tables, which hadn't known were a part of some local festival. If he had meant to do it, he could have understood the anger, but it had been an accident. Yet, they'd still been pissed off, and the fact that they didn't speak a lot of his language didn't help at all.
That had resulted in him being stuck in a fight with the Village Champion. What should have been a relatively simple proposition had turned into something of a stress test for him. With the big breasts bouncing under the light fabric of her shirt, he'd gotten... overwhelmed, and had wound up panicking quite a bit. Considering the fact that the girl that he was supposed to have the match with was bearing a cute face and a really nice figure, it was perfectly understandable that he was rather... flustered. All he could do was move about wildly, and the next thing that he knew that he was doing was whipping out a hand to whap her on the back of the head. As that knocked her silly, and had shoved her away from the challenge space, he had become the winner.
Because of that, he'd wound up in the situation that he'd found himself in, which hadn't been all that good. It was clearly not a comfortable situation, and when the crowd had gotten agitated, he'd known that something serious had just happened. But once she got up and placed a small peck upon him, there was only one thing that he could do.
Twirling about, he squeaked a bit, and bolted for the horizon.
This wasn't exactly a good thing in the eyes of the villagers, or at least it seemed to, since they were apparently racing after him. He didn't know exactly why they wanted him so badly, but he did recognize that it couldn't be for a simple handshake. Something major had happened, and he was only hoping that it was not going to take a bite out of him.
As it was, he thought that hightailing it out of the village had been his best choice, though he wasn't all that clear on exactly what had happened.
Of course, he might have lost a bit more sleep had he known that:
