Ranma coughed a roar, agreeing. You could see a lot of Tokyo from this height. Something told him he was nearly three kilometers up.
Kasumi shifted her weight slightly, not so oblivious as to not notice that this was really high up.
Ranma spotted the fish market and dipped his wing surfaces slightly so that they began a descent. It was odd, he wouldn't think this was enough surface area to keep him aloft but it apparently was enough to work.
It wasn't until he was skimming rooftops that he realized this was a fish market near the docks. In Yokohama.
"Good idea, Ranma-kun, they always have the freshest fish and best prices near the waterfront."
Ranma snorted. If Kasumi wanted to think it was cleverness on his part, he wasn't gonna say nothin'.
The sight of a dragon approaching was at first ignored, then briefly cause for panic, but the panic was put aside when it was obvious a pretty girl was riding the dragon and the dragon itself wasn't terribly big.
The conclusion of a lot of these dockworkers, fishmongers, customers, and fishermen was one of two obvious things.
1)The girl was obviously one of those Magical Girl types like in the manga/anime etc. The dragon was quite obviously her magical mascot and not nearly as insufferably cute as most of those in the stories. Therefore more tolerable. They weren't going to raise a fuss because they could then get a picture and go home and show their daughters a real life Magical Girl, earning that their daughters would then think of them as being cooler than mere fishmongers, dockworkers, customers, and fishermen because they would be the people who got pictures of a Magical Girl & Mascot!2) This was obviously a publicity stunt or onsite filming of a movie. Ah. See that glint in that window! Obviously a camera. They'd just act cool and business-as-usual. They were from Yokohama, after all. Nothing fazed them. Well, short of giant monsters anyway.
Other than people taking pictures from the stalls and calling out prices quite a bit lower than was Nerima-usual, everyone seemed to ignore the dragon. Ranma shrugged. Who was he to complain or something?
