Ranma the Dragon: Fly Her to the Moon. Almost. (WAFF) [Episode 71776]

The two of them glided through the air, a young dragon and its rider. The sun hung low to the west, but not too low. The late afternoon sky had yet to shift to tints of orange at the horizon. Nonetheless, the moon had already made its appearance. And a few adventurous stars twinkled defiantly.

"It's beautiful."
"WHUF!" [This isn't so bad.]

Kasumi whispered softly as she gazed at the sight all around her. She watched the clouds passing by above her as they raced across the sky. She watched the sun making its way towards the distant horizon. She watched the earth below change from cities to towns to fields to roads to forests to mountains and back. She sat, side-straddled across Ranma's back, her hands gripping tightly along the spinal ridges. The bags of fish were held securely within the dragon's claws.

"It's so beautiful up here."
"WHEF!" [I can get around much better this way.]

The wind fluttered gently at her face. Despite the speed the dragon seemed to be moving through the sky, the air didn't seem strong enough to knock the young woman loose from her perch. Strands of long brown hair that had escaped the confines of her ribbon occasionally looped down and across her eyes, and she would brush them aside. But she never stopped looking.

The trip back from the fish market was taking longer than the trip to there, but it didn't matter. The two of them were embracing the joy of flight. In their own little way.
