Ranma the Dragon: Lattitude in attitude [Episode 72374]

"Hmf," said Ranma as he landed in the backyard. Kasumi quickly left to go put away groceries, leaving him alone to think.

A curious thing was going on in his head. All his life, his father had told him what girls were like. They were weak, they were emotional, they were mean, and they weren't any good at the Art. They played with dollies and had tea parties and did 'girly' stuff. While he had since begun getting used to the idea that not all girls were as presented - he still tended to react based on his upbringing.

Once Ranma had gotten cursed, he'd gotten defensive on a purely instinctive/emotional level. A lot of his "acting like a jerk" had been that he had to be 200% manly and masculine to make up for the time he spent as a girl.

Now he wasn't cursed to be a girl. He didn't have to act/react more boyish than ever. The idea had begun penetrating while flying.

Dragons had a completely different atmosphere. Dragons were tough, top-of-the-food-chain, symbols of Imperial strength and nobility. None of these ideas were a threat to his basic self-image and therefore something to trigger overcompensation on his part.

"Ranma! How dare you -" WHACK!

Ranma blinked and looked back behind himself. Hmmm. Looked like Akane had tried attacking from behind and he'd tail smacked her. Apparently that was just kind of instinctive.

Also apparently, it looked like he was going to have to stop what he was doing and deal with
